No, but I've had a Buffalo (bison) burger at a regular family style restaurant (delicious), and I had monkey meat as the meat portion of an 8 course Chinese meal in Singapore. And I've had venison steak and made venison jerky at home.

When I was 11 years old. I was a pretty consistent hitter when I played ball, but one day I struck out 4 times in a game. After the 4th strikeout as I went to my position in centerfield I was glad to be so far away from everybody else so they couldn't see me crying. Gosh that was painful.

Picnics are great! I have been wanting to go on a REAL picnic for long time. Picnic basket, fried chicken, checkered cloth, blanket, a frisbee, a portable tape or CD player for some cool music.....I'd even enjoy that for a first date.

Mostly brand names. There is a definite difference in quality and taste with off brands, or store brands, or generic brands with MOST but not all products.

Regardless of price range, I have found among the best gifts to give are music (CDs, portable CD player), books and movies (DVDs, portable DVD/CD player). Or any combination of the three. These are really great for someone who travels.

Doing it online is fine if you have the patience for it. I often defer to my travel agent and pay the fee to save the time and aggravation of shopping for the best price, flight time, etc. I just don't have the patience for it all the time.

If answerbag (or computers ) were available when I was an adolescent, nothing much would've changed because I was always working or playing sports. Not much time for hobby type endeavors.
