We do this by trying to help others that have been trolled* to regain lost points and by offering other support to ABers such as a kind word or an ear to listen. We are not here to manipulate the points system; this is not our purpose. We are not a group that has come together to bring one another AB status and fame. We very often act anonymously, quietly slipping in to replace lost points while we continue enjoying the questions, answers and conversation that brought us here. We, as a group, do not engage in downrate missions even on trolls; we believe this to be counter productive of our peaceful mission to spread positivity and friendship. *Trolling is defined by us as multiple downrates on a single person by usually a single person for no apparent reason other than hate, spite or just meanness. Downrates on one or two questions/answers for a possible legitimate reason does not constitute trolling. Help keep the troll population down . . . On of our keys in dealing with trolls is advising everyone that is attacked not to say anything at all about it on site. First, inform AB admin or a CL, then, just drop a Coat an email and we generally set project backfire into action silently. We do this because trolls thrive off of the trouble that they can stir up; the more they can stir up, the more they will troll, so we try not to give them the satisfaction.
