Answer to:
My son was given up for adoption. I haven't signed any papers. I just recently found out he was alive because the birth mother told me he was dead. He is about 1 1/2. Can I do anything to get him back?
In England once someone is adopted, they're adopted. There's no going back. I can imagine it's the same in some (all?) US states.
But what bothers me more is this: what's motivating you? Yes, what happened is terrible and it must hurt badly. But unless you've reason to believe he's being neglected or abused by his adoptive parents why change the situation?...

Is it fair for teenage mothers to participate in school activities, represent their schools and communities, and be used as girls who are admirable because they are smart in academics?
Yes. Being a teenage mother does not make a woman/girl a second class citizen or any less worthy of being a representative. Everyone has a private life outside work or school.

How much money would it take for you to go back in time and re-live the last ten years, exactly as they happened the first time?
There have been a few days that I would pay a lot to re-live -- but all in all there's no amount of money you could pay me to live the whole last 10 years. They were educational, but they weren't pleasant!

I had unprotected sex on saturday and i'm on B.C but i haven't been taken them everyday at the same time. since saturday night i've been really nauseous.. but i'm stressed too.. just stress right?? its still way to early to tell?
It's way too early for you to have symptoms, and way to early for a pregnancy test to give you an accurate result.
You need to wait until your period is due, and take a test. That's also roughly around the time symptoms of pregnancy (like morning sickness) could start to appear.

When your BFF tells you a H-U-G-E secret, do you tell everyone or keep it to yourself?
It depends what it is. If it's something serious like their little sister is being abused by their father -- then while I would encourage my friend to tell someone, if they didn't I would.
If somebody else isn't in danger and it's basically just gossip, I'd keep quiet and honour my friend's trust.

Yeah, you could be... but 11 days is plenty long enough for a pregnancy test to give an accurate result. Sometimes though, they can still be misleading. The best thing to do is go to your doctor.
Even if you're not pregnant, a period which is 11 days late is a bit suspect unless that's a regular thing for you.

If you want to bring her to the US to live there, you'll need a fiancee visa for her. That's called a K-1 visa.
You'll have to organise sponsorship for her. You can be the sponsor, or you can ask a family member or friend to agree to do it if you don't have the money.
You have to have met her within the past two years and you both have to be free to marry (obviously)....

Would someone really kill someone for money or because they got caught cheating, etc. I've been watching a lot of crime shows lately, and it bothers me that maybe in the real world, people are just as likely to get killed off for something like that.
Presumably you've heard of hitmen? They're employed to kill others -- the motives vary from cheating, finances, keeping secrets to lots of other things. People also kill others themselves for those same reasons.
But by ''just as likely to get killed off for something like that'', what do you mean exactly? The chance of being murdered is very low, especially...

I have mixed feelings about the EU, but certainly I don't want to be any closer to the US. Blair already acted like Bush's puppet, any closer and Bush & Brown might be tempted to have a civil ceremony.

LMAO! ''Donald Key'' is hilarious.
If you're actually being serious, then get a baby names book. There are tons of names in those. What about ''Andrew''? I don't especially like it but I can't think of any terrible nicknames.

I need help with my 12 yr. old. She has been lying, wearing makeup, screaming at me,calling me names and her grades have slipped. She has been late when I pick her up from rehearsals even when she says she'll call if it runs late. I end
Assuming she enjoys rehearsals, I'd stop her going. I'd tell whoever ran them (the adult) I was pulling her out, and if she turned up not to let her take part.
I'd let her wear make up at home, simply because I think make up at 12 isn't a problem. My mother took me to get professional make up consultations at 12 so I'd know how to do it properly and tastefully.

Do you feel guilty being born with so much available to you?
Not at all, not even a tiny bit. I really couldn't help the circumstances I was born into, as nobody else in the world can. We can just do our best to try and improve the lives of others once we're here.
In any case, wealth and opportunities are relative.

It's not wrong, but as someone else said boyfriends might find it a bit off putting.
Lot's of people have throwback behaviours from childhood. I knew someone who sucked her thumb when she was asleep, so she couldn't stop it... she was married. I can't sleep without sucking my tongue, due to the fact I had a pacifier to help me sleep until I was 7.

Aqueous cream is supposed to be beneficial, you can get this from some supermarkets and pharmacies. Any creams that you buy off the shelf which are scented and contain chemicals will probably make it worse.

Should small children (under 10 years of age) attend funerals?
If they want to and it seems appropriate. I don't think there's a ''one size fits all'' policy for children, especially on a topic like this.
Some children are better able to cope with things like funerals, for others it's important for closure. I'd probably explain who had died, what would happen, and see what they wanted to do.

If a baby isnt born yet, does the father have to pay support to the ex-girlfriend while she is pregnant? We are in Pa.
No.
But it might be nice (and in the baby's interests) if you contributed something, even if you just buy some clothes, blankets, or a car seat etc rather than handing over cash. Babies consume a lot of money BEFORE they're born, as well as after. It's unfair mom should have to cough up for all that, just because she's carrying the child (which is incredibly hard work btw!).

How Do You Get Your Mom To Quit Smoking? (Any Suggestions)
You can't. I tried for years. A smoker, like any addict, has to WANT to quit in order to succeed. Unfortunately you can't make them want to quit or give them the willpower to do so.
The best you (or anyone) can do is be supportive of their efforts, and not nag. Nagging just adds to their stress and makes them want to smoke even more.

Well, if TV is going to be regulated at all, then 10pm seems like a decent hour for it to need to go off.
I'm not sure how I'll feel 14 years down the road, but at the moment I don't really agree with regulating a 14 year old quite so much -- by that age I was capable of understanding what I needed and the consequences of my actions.

I'm afraid I may be showing early signs of pregnancy in the first week after having sex. I just began taking my first pack of birth control pills 3 days after having unprotected sex. Will the pills stop the development of the pregnancy, if any?
It's highly unlikely you'd have any pregnancy symptoms. Implantation bleeding (when it occurs) usually appears 10 days after, so pregnancy symptoms in the first 7 days are just, negligible.
In answer to your other question, birth control will not prevent implantation or development of the embryo once conception has occurred. Only the morning after pill will do this (up to 72 hours...

That's really messed up! If he wants you to lose weight because it's endangering your health, that's one thing... though he should still broach the issue with tact and care. But saying he wants you to lose it as a sign of your dedication to him is a MAJOR red flag. It's controlling, manipulative and plain nasty.

Hold fund-raisers... bake sales, sell raffle tickets with small prizes for the winner(s) (like homemade cakes!), sponsored runs maybe. Pretty much anything that brings in money and doesn't involve the donators going to too much effort. Simply asking friends and colleagues for money probably won't be an effective strategy.

No. It isn't. Under normal circumstances I'd say there's nothing wrong with it so long as you're both committed and obviously not closely related.
However, looking at your other questions, you're already sleeping with other women and are incredibly insecure about who you should and should not be sleeping with, or, you're joking.

I've been a vegetarian for 12 years. I love the recipes on this website: http://vegbox-recipes.co.uk/
But, the key thing I find which helps a lot, is using vegetarian replacements for meat. For example, you can buy vegetarian sausages, hotdogs, burgers, kievs, bacon, mince etc... all made from soya. Thus, it's relatively easy to continue to eat similar meals to those you may have...

Honestly... it depends on our financial status and whether I like it or not. I'd much prefer a $100 ring I adored than a $100,000 ring I disliked. Likewise, I'd feel really uncomfortable if someone stretched beyond their means just so I could have a pretty much non-functional piece of metal on my finger.

A router in itself won't give him your passwords -- so if he has those then change them and don't tell him what your new passwords are. You can also speak to him and tell him how unacceptable you find it, and tell him you won't tolerate it. If he ignores that then it might be time to reconsider if this is someone you want to be with, it's very controlling behaviour.

Your teenage daughter took off her skirt in front of you for you to spank her?
Well, I'd have to say no you shouldn't have. Furthermore if I were you I'd put an end to her taking her skirt off and bending over for spanking lest it be misconstrued for something else. Yes, unless they live in a country where not being Muslim isn't tolerated. Even then, they could secretly hold the beliefs of another religion.
