Should a surviving family member of a murdered person be permitted to throw "the chair" switch, start the drugs flowing, fire one of the rifles or operate the trap door, when their relative's killer is executed? Would YOU want to do that, if possible? Oh no I couldn't do that ever. What kind of day was it in your "neck of the woods?" Today, it was 70 degrees, no wind, not a cloud in sky as it a very high blue sky, and the humidity was 25%. Lazy kind of day. Took a long nap! Wet and extremely windy. Leaves blowing about everywhere. Went to bed at 3.30am ... up at about at 8.00am. Started clearing up the house of bottles, glasses, plates, streamers, confetti etc etc. Worth all the work after such a fabulous celebration. It took me two hours to find the kettle to make myself a much needed coffee LOL But eventually a lovely relaxing day.

Do you buy your bread or make it yourself? All the time ... well my breadmaker does it for me! I use wholemeal flour from a flourmill, where I can actually see it ground for me. No additives or preservatives and the smell emanating from the kitchen ..... is wonderful. I would recommend trying making your own to anyone, the taste is superb.

I sometimes feel that 'friends' can be that way, but then I would hope they would reciprocate if I needed help. If they weren't there for me, then they are not true friends and I would ditch them. However there there could be extenuating circumstances where you would have to break that promise. HELP!!! I want to quit smokeing. Does anyone have a trick that helped them quit with out haveing to resort to medications or over priced nicotine items? Fascinating. I just found out from my best friend of many decades that an 'old friend' of ours died last year. However, I have no real feelings about it due to past events. (See my answer, linked below). I'm curious: what do you think of this? It just goes to show that you have forgiven and moved on from this dreadful time. You have put the past well and truly where it should be - in the past. An ex-friend of mines husband has recently died and I also don't have any feelings whatsoever. Since our parents took the obligation of spending at least 18 years raising us,should it not be our obligation to take care of them in their old age,as apposed to sending them to homes for the elderly? I make my own bread with organic wholemeal flour, and add seeds, fruits etc as the mood takes me. It tastes nicer (and better for you) than the awful white bread you can buy. The dog gets exercise and so do you. A dog who isn't under control can approach - and attack - another dog. I have seen this happen. Then it leads to animosity between the two dog owners. The older dog is also putting it's scent on the younger dog. This happened to my two dogs. What we did was, every time the older dog did this, we would take the younger dog away from the older dog, and cuddle the younger dog, thus placing OUR scent on the younger one. She is a timid dog, and I think she feels safe and secure in this basket. Also when we take her out in the car she has her own transporter. My other dog is a very confident dog and she won't sleep in a basket at all. She loves to sleep without blanket or basket. I suppose all dogs are different.

My Lhasa Apso tries to bite me when I prevent him from charging at people near the fence. He is mean and doesn't listen to me. I'm not abusive to him, and I thought these dogs were supposed to be loyal. What do I do?
