I like reprogramming fools, it takes a while, but you can usually get them to regurgitate anything you convince them of to someone else with in moments of disengagement. Arguing is the first step.

I think it depends on the situation. If you have means of survailence, you can monitor what goes on and keep people in check if they cross the line.
