Answer to:
How do you deal with a grizzly bear intent on killing you, and you have no weapon, or aid?
I watched that documenatry about the guy who lived with the bears every summer in the middle of nowhere. He always said they were his friends and they'd never hurt him. And then one ate him.
If a Grizzly wants you for lunch and you don't have a gun close your eyes and pray that it'll be quick.

I've been dating this guy for 7 months now. And im not happy. im so in love with this guy, but he goes day s without calling and thinks its no big deal to keep me waiting around. it hasnt always been like this. but now i dont know what to do.
You said it yourself, you're not happy. You have to determine if you'd be happier with him or without him. I think you know the answer to that one already, but it's terribly hard to give up on something that we wanted to work out so badly. Remember that you can have the same kind of love for another man without being unhappy.

I attended a Baptist private school. The Pastor one day announced he had a vision and was told by God that a particular day was going to be the end of the world. Very specifically, it was like "February 10th", which at the time was like 2 weeks away. Talk about sheer panic! I spent the next two weeks sweating and praying and grieving that I'd never get to grow up.

Loved although I really do have to point out, Love causes fear when you think about it. How many people don't go for it because they're scared of getting hurt? And when you're in love, you develop all sorts of extraneous fears ie will they leave me? Are they mad at me? Are they going to hurt me? So being loved and feared is almost the same thing if you look at it a certain way.

With all the crime, death, wars and other huge problems in the world, it makes alot of people including me very confused and borderline afraid. Is there a way to stay calm and not get stressed too much in today's world?
It may be helpful for you to remember that the crime and death and wars have all been going on for thousands of years. We're here for less than a hundred. It's more important for you to concentrate on your world instead of the world's problems while you're still here.

So I'm 19 and my mom openly admitted to me yesterday that she's been having an affair for the past year. She also said she and my dad are divorcing .She and my father have been together for 20yrs as of January 1st. Do I tell my Dad? Or do I keep quiet?
That is rough. I've been there with my parents and I hated it that she told me anything! It seems like no matter how old you are, your parents are always your parents and some things don't need to be confided to your child! Keep it to yourself for now and wait and see how things roll. Chances are he may already know about it or will shortly when the details of the divorce are...

Obviously it's a personal decision, but I have some experience in this area so thought I'd comment. I am not understanding why you are in this situation when you stated you were trying to get pregnant in a previous question, but now you have changed your mind?

Never base your answers on debating whether or not someone will be offended by what you say because that will always change your way of thinking and your honest response may be compromised. I need help with losing weight, does anyone know a diet that really works and fast too! im a junior this year and i want to look good in my prom dress!!
Whatever you do, DONT QUIT EATING! Your hair will look dull and brittle, you'll have no energy, and when you do start eating again the weight will pile on. The quickest way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you take in. Exercise as much as you can, drink water all day long, and eat several small meals. Don't waste any money on diet pills, they don't work.

Yes, "morning sickness" should actually have been named "whenever it feels like hitting you" sickness. It's normal to feel sick at any time, it's just depending on your hormone fluctuation. Eat something dry and salty, Saltines or Pretzels are very good, and drink as much water as you can.

Sadly, I have become a reality show junkie. Can't get enough of them! No matter how stupid or mind-numbing they might be. I think there's a certain visceral sensation of superiority I get out of watching real people with lives that are even more screwed up than my own.

In my experience the defining characteristic of Depression is the complete loss of hope. You feel hopeless, that the future is hopeless and that nothing will ever get discernably better. This loss of hope makes you despondent, angry, irritable, bitter and tired. Here are a couple of points that helped me out tremendously when I was in it and I hope they do you as well.

I would take it to your bosses manager first but make sure you tell somebody. If you don't and somebody else runs into it in the future it could be pinned on you.

How about doing it outside of your home? Go somewhere private and do it in the backseat of the car or someplace else where you're sure you won't get caught and arrested for public indecency lol.
Answer to:
Ladies. if you suspected your hubby was looking at porn, what would you do?
My man watches it with and without me. It's never bothered me in the least. I think the time to be concerned about it would be if he was chatting with other women or engaging in cyber sex. That to me would be over the top. I really don't know of too many men who don't look at attractive women whether they admit to it or not.

Am I wrong for making my fiance choose between me and her male friend? I see no other choice. She won't introduce us and they are very very close. She made over 200 calls from my house phone in 2 months. Most of them before 6am when I wake up.
Why does she have to chose between the two of you? Isn't there a compromise, like making her allow you both to meet? And why exactly does she tell you that you can't meet him? And why can she only talk to this person when you're not around? Frankly, I'd think twice about getting married to this woman. Why would you want to get into a marriage with someone who is so covert?

You know they say 'you can choose your friends but you can't choose your family', why do they say that as if that is supposed to make everything ok?
My ineterpretation of that comment has always been you can chose who you care to have in your life. You chose your friends but your family was chosen for you at birth. My friends are closer to me than my family ever was and if I was to run into my family somewhere as strangers they would never in a million years be people I would chose to be friends with.

Well, ethically we should treat all living creatures with kindness but psychologically pets shouldn't be treated as humans. I've been watching the Dog Whisperer alot, and he always says the worst thing we can do to a dog is treat it like it's a human. They are happier and more well-adjusted if treated as other dogs treat them, not as humans treat each other. As far as cats are...

My understanding is that a functional alcholic is one that continuously drinks alcohol but functions normally at the same time. A close friend of yours is dying in a hospice (within 3 months). You are VERY uncomfortable with death and hospital-type places, and have a hard time staying composed. Would you visit them often, or how would you deal with it all?
If you're uncomfortable then you would make them uncomfortable. The situation would then be about you instead of the actual patient. You would be doing them a disservice by making the obligatory visits while visibly uncomfortable because they would then be made to feel like they need to take care of you. Write letters.

On a scale of 1-10, how was your 2006 Halloween?

My boyfriend's family had a yard sale and I asked if they could give my daughter the clothes they didn't sell since they were her size and we could really use them. They are giving them to a thrift store instead. Should I be upset?
Thank You, I agree she definitely is the priority!

Well, I forgot to put this in my question, but the clothes actually belong to my boyfriend's daughter. His mother bought most of them for her which is why she's involved. I know if I had a yard sale and his daughter could use the clothes I would have automatically given them to her. We have only dated for 2 months -
