Try some Crew or head-down skydiving ... that will blow your mind for a while! It's not a one time thing though, you have to get a license, rigs, suits, etc. but it's fantastic once you get going :-)

Diet AND exercise ... even a LITTLE bit of exercise is effective but diet is about 80% of it. Have to just suck it up and eat no fat/sugar for a while ... including alchohol, that's almost all sugar :-)

9mm with grip activated laser site is my choice for accuracy but I understand that a 45 may be better (for stopping power and less legal entanglements). A shotgun is good, of course, but lots of collateral damage to fix later :-)
