Obviously, you have a heat-related problem, and the gizmo that is supposed to take care of that is the fan system in your laptop. You might have someone qualified check the fan(s) to see if they are running too slow...that sometimes happens with older laptops. Good luck!

Although it is rare, you may find that you have a bad ground. Check the ground rod outside the building. The 220vac line becomes unbalanced, and the voltage available at the outlets swings somewhat with the changing load conditions. Ask an electrician to check that for you.
