What are your thoughts on the incident in Derry, Ireland in 1972, in which 26 civil rights protesters were shot by members of the 1st Battalion of the British Parachute Regiment?
It was a bit uncalled for but not unexpected. The IRA was known for sudden car bomb attacks during that period of civil unrest but the bombs were not generally aimed to maim civilians or soldiers alike. The British Paratroopers were a bit of a rogue force at that time and must have been eager to become engaged in a conflict. A bit too trigger happy perhaps, much like some american police...

What are the advantages of Objective C or Objective C++? Disadvantages?
Objective-C is a very pragmatic language. Objective-C implementations use a thin runtime written in C that adds little to the size of the application. In contrast, most OO systems at the time that it was created used large VM runtimes that took over the entire system. Programs written in Objective-C tend to be not much larger than the size of their code and that of the libraries (which...

It's a sign of cleanliness. The families of the condemmed usually look for some sort of loop hole that would allow them to sue the state on the grounds that the execution was inhumane. I've heard of families attempting a lawsuit on the grounds that the needle was too painful.

Perhaps we should identify why they refuse to donate, is it religious? moralistic? If they have a rational reason to decide against it, whether you think religion is rational or not (i personally don't), then you probably don't have much of an arguement against it. That's an excellent question, while we know they "sing" to communicate and locate each other, we would have a hard time determining whether they decide to cut loose and just allow their song to let fly throughout the forrest. We know of things they do to survive, eat, mate, lay eggs but what do they do for themselves? From this pattern, i will venture that they don't sing...

What is so fascinating about Van Gogh's "Starry Night?" I can't seem to pin it down...
The stroke technique makes it look very surreal but enchanting. The color depth adds a calm aura with undertones of unsettledness. The shapes are sharp and blurred in just the right places, like an embossed overcrop.

President = Puppet, doesn't it? Thats what I have always heard. Doesn't he just do what he is told?
Slighty correct. He is told all his information by aides, it is not as though he goes out, watches terrorists from the bushes and makes decisions. He can still make decisions though, he still has to choose left or right, black or white and such. The more accurate the info his aides give him though, the better.

Well it depends, are you "shy" because you're physically or mentally inferior or "shy" just because you don't say anything? I am the latter type and nobody dares tango with me. If you are the first definition then you are likely to be razed so take a stand and establish you are not to be triffled with.

Answer to:
My friends always say i act "emo" but how do you really act "emo"?
Let me educate the ignorants of this world. "Emo" is a type of music. Somehow an avid listener began to label himself as such, looked a certain way and acted metrosexually. People would have seen this and begin to identify the appearence with others. people that say they are emo have not the slightest idea what they're talking about, neither do emo "accusors"....

From the wording of the question, i assume that he wasn't around much when you were a child? If this is the case then he's just trying to establish a base on which he can build up and get to know you better.
