I recall having had a small poster with this saying on it when I was a teen --- reading that saying every so often, among other things, did help me to break up with, and keep my distance from, an old boyfriend. ;)

Sometimes it's harder than other times. I seek to always forgive, no matter what happened. (Not to say that I necessarily ~tell~ the other person that I forgave them if they don't ask or could care less.) But forgiving doesn't mean putting oneself in harm's way or letting the offender reoffend....

For me, it would depend on how Aunt Jane would see it --- if she's slightly insecure and woudl feel rejected if she thought I'd turn around and give it away, I'd hang on to it for a while and try to use it when she came over for a visit. Otherwise, I'd regift it.

What is the longest you have ever been awake? and what caused you to be up so long?

72 hours. Over the past month, I had a 9 day stretch when I was awake for 5 of those days without being able to sleep for even a minute. After the first 3 days of this, 2 friends prayed I would sleep and I did for 4 or 5 hours that night. More sleepless days, more prayer, and I'm sleeping...

I think parents should let their children play 'dressup' and let their son wear a dress a couple of times to know what its like and not become upset about that. However, we parents need to guide our children --- sons need to be taught what it is to be a heterosexual male and daughters what it is...

Yes and no. I like to agree religion wise when it comes to my mate, which we essentially do. But when it comes to other friendships I like having friends of all stripes, as long as they're kind, interesting, and at least a bit fun to be around. ;)
