If a functional alcoholic had no intention of quitting or even cutting down their drinking, what could they do to maintain good health? I thought my ex was a "functioning" alcoholic -- he's not functioning too well right now. He's dying of cirrhosis. He used to be a big strong beautiful man - now reduced to half his size with bones sticking out and yellow skin and eyes. I really had no idea he was drinking as much as he was. The alcohol will eventually get you in the end.

Hello. My husband and I recently rented a home. If there is a basement maybe there was water at one time and there could very well be mould. You could check for signs of mould - sometimes it's black or white and fuzzy looking and potentially quite harmful. I would question the landlord and see what he/she has to say. It sounds like a harmful environment and you may have to find another place. Good luck.

Do you think obesity is acceptable? For me personally, it's unacceptable. I like to keep my weight under control because I feel better, look better, it's healthier and I have much more energy. I've never had a weight problem, I just eat smaller portions - I fill up very fast. I don't think there's too many people around that actually choose to be obese, but I know how desperately difficult it is to lose weight for some people...
