I coast a LOT. I noticed when the gas was sky high that a lot of times I was pushing the gas pedal when it wasn't necessary. Today I still coast. In traffic many times it's not necessary to push the gas. Definitely not down a hill, I was doing that. In this neighborhood I now know when I can take my feet off the gas and cruise. Does anyone out there have a hateful ex, how do you deal with it when a child is involved?
I did and we had 3 children together.
I'll tell you it wasn't easy but I was determined for our kids to know both of us. I had to ignore him and his new wife (he cheated on me with her). Many hateful things were said and done. I ignored it. It wasn't easy. There were years of tears and heartache BUT I made it and I did it. Now those same 3 children are grown adults and they know...

Sometimes that's true. Sometimes it's not.

Nahhh I don't think you should give him a piece of your mind. I would talk to my friend & if she see's nothing wrong I would just back off of the relationship if I got that upset when around him.
I actually had to do that with a friend. It wasn't her husband though it was a live in b/f. I stopped going to her house unless he wasn't there and when she talked about him...

I wanna talk to somebody i know about something that i don't wanna keep to myself any longer. But i'm not sure if they will keep it to themselves. i really want to talk to someone i know about it though. what should i do
There are only two 'set' of people I would tell something that I need them to keep it to themselves:
-someone who was in as deep as I was & their punishment would be worse
-someone who has a license and it would be against the law for them to talk about it under any circumstances.

It's according to how old the students are. If they are 18 and over, not in high school, parents not taking care of them - yes! But if they are 18 and under, in grades 1 -12, parents taking care of them, then my answer is no.
We the people hold parents accountable for actions their children. We even go to the point of suing the parents b/c the parents should have known and did...

Sometimes I'm looking for both. Sometimes I think I'm right and want to know if anyone else has the same mindset as I do. Other times I'm not sure at all and I'm looking for new information to help me come to a decision.

If your boyfriend/girlfriend cheats on you, is it O.K. to break there possessions?
Many feel like destroying the others property but that only leads to the person being charged with something. The best thing to do and one that will cause the other person to pause is to not do anything and have no further contact with them.
I've known people who took some type of pleasure when someone did that to them...why? b/c they knew without a doubt the person still had some left...

The problem is: when no one is injured by someone's anger we, the public, kinda sigh and say all is well. It's not b/c sooner or later he is going to hit someone and either kill them or cause them significant brain injury. And this is when all the bandwagon'ers will start saying someone should have did something when he 'almost' hit the first one.

Most likely the message behind this is to stop others from doing it and to make it clear to her that it's not acceptable.
Is it enough? If no one contracted the deadly disease yes. If they did...then no. We seem to take life for granted too many times.

There is no way some strangers on a computer can tell anyone why someone didn't text back.
I know the feeling though. You are talking to someone, the convo is pretty good. You say something and wait for a reply that never comes.
I have waited and when nothing was forth coming I moved on doing something else. When it bugged me enough to get upset I said something to the person about it.

I definitely did enjoy her thoughts, words and how she played the book in my mind.

Do you worry about your friends "changing" on you? You notice that they no longer react as they used to...more things annoy them and fewer things make them happy....like a dark cloud is hovering overhead. If that were to happen, would you say anything?
As the years pass I begin to realize that some friends are not meant to be life friends. So whatever happens I'm good. I might be sad and I definitely will miss a friend. I just had to accept what was.
And then sometimes it's nothing except that person is going through something.

My husband is the only man i ever had sex with and we have been married 8 months and i never had an orgasm before with him so is it me or him bc i don't no if hes good or bad in bed. help!
I don't think it's strange. Some women have been married for years and never experienced one. Your having only been with your husband is not a minus but a plus. Together you and he can learn together...granted learning is something frustrating (with anything) but once you find out what you are seeking it will have been worth the search.

Should songs be made in to a remix or left alone?
Sometimes it isn't necessarily the remix thats the problem but the person who did it and the way in which they did it.
And some songs just don't do well mixed. I have heard some songs mixed and hated them. And others I heard mixed I loved!
It just depends upon a lot of variables.

Are we as a society too quick to sue when we fall at a shop or are otherwise slightly injured or inconvenienced? Are we too concerned with trying to blame others & grab money instead of taking responsibility for ourselves? I think so..
Sometimes yes. Albeit there are legitimate claims----there are thousands more that are not. Some fake it. Some are hurt but not to the tune of thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars. And then there are the true ones who are hurt badly which was caused by the carelessness of a company or person. They definitely deserve compensation.

How long after you stop breastfeeding does your body still produce milk? I quit nursing my son when he was 4 months old...he is now over nine months old, and am still producing. When will it dry up?
I did for years!!! When I told my dr she said there was nothing she could do. It stopped on it's on years later.
sidenote: Mine didn't leak but would produce if I made it do so.

I would like to become a community support worker (wake and watch) the hours would be 8am-8pm weekends, the only thing is i have 2 daughters, one is 13 and the other is 14, would i be required by law to have a babysitter with them overnight?
If something happened to them you would be devastated. It is too dangerous these days to leave them alone even if the law afforded you the right to do so. I don't know what the law is in your state but even if it covers you it would never cover you loss and hurt if something happened to them. I know b/c I'm the mom of 2 girls.

Why does the discussion of religion bring out such venom and mostly hatred?
What comes to my mind is Christ when he was here walking among the Pharisees and Sadducee s. They thought they were right! If all religious views were correct he would not have to say, 'There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.' Prov 14:12

Why is Mary so revered in Catholicism when surely that attention should be for Jesus - the one who actually saved us?
I have no answer as to why. And whatever we believe in should be mentioned in the bible. It is the book that will be opened at the last day. It is the bible we are to live by. The word catholic is not even mentioned in the bible as are a few words we use in our religious views.

There is not nobody who goes around the whole world delivering presents to people. It has never happened and it won't. I never taught my kids that lie (a rose by any other name is it still a rose). I told them the truth.

Straight men, If a female ask your opinion on how another man looks, could you do it, judge another man on his looks?
No man who've I asked has answered. The most I'll get is 'I don't look at men!' If pressed I have got one guy to say, 'I guess he is aiight.'
Answer to:
Why do women think it's good to say how stupid men are and how they're all the same to a guy who is obviously interested in them? Is doing this unfair? Should opinions like that be kept to themselves?
If you are speaking in reference to young ladies who are between the age of 18 -30 yrs of age then it's par for the course. The same thing can be said for young men in the same age bracket.
Should they keep it to themselves? no. If someone is somebody who thinks in a way I think is negative I would rather know.

At this point your feelings is not really the crux of this. If a man tells a woman this he is trying to tell her she is talking too much, running him crazy or he just needs some quietness. Instead of letting my hurt feelings make matters worse I would try to communicate with him so he could tell me in plain english what I'm doing to make him feel that way.

No. Actually some products I won't buy b/c a certain woman is simply a pimp for commercials. It 'sounds' like a good idea. I don't know how it will be if implemented. But I do hope it works. There are so many people that need health coverage. How many "whippings" did you get as a child?
there is no number to count them. BUT I know I deserved what I got. I was bad. There were only 2 whippings in which I knew I was innocent. But when you are bad, so much, there was no way they would believe at that time that I was innocent.

What's the best birthday or Christmas gift you ever received?
I haven't received a gift from anyone that stands out in my mind. As a child a gift was a rare occurrence. As an adult I haven't received anything that made me sooo happy. I've been blessed and very appreciative but no cigars.

Have you ever been a mystery shopper? What was your experience?
gotta laugh.
I am one of those mystery shoppers and I love it! The best and fastest ones I've done is fast food shops. If it's last minute they have paid me up to $20 plus food cost. It takes about 20 min and I've had my lunch.
The ones I get the best laugh out of are the ones when I'm through I go to the restroom and leave a sticker saying, 'You have been mystery...

My sister-in-law doesn't feel that that she can force her teenage son go to school simply because he is bigger than her. What should she do to convince/coerce/bribe him to go?
shoot anytime you have to convince, coerce or bribe a child to go to school when you are the parent and they are living in your house, eating your food, watching your tv while you have the luxury of buying their clothes the battle is lost.
There are a lot of things she didn't do when this child was small and to try to do it now is almost impossible.

The past is a good indicator of what may happen in the future...hence history books. Should you? No. I tell my kids that I have forgot more stuff than they can remember.

How do you think of those people who require their kids to dress up almost every day (or at least every weekend, from Friday to Sunday), like boys to always wear dress shirt, pants and tie, girls in skirt and blouse or some dress? Kids may really hate it.
Whatever I required my kids to wear they had to wear it. Yeah they hated some things I bought and they had to wear. It's just called life. You will not like every decision your parents make and you will not like every decision you make.

Do you like the CONCEPT of online shopping? Why or why not?
I love it.
I ordered a pair of pants this month and loved them. I was worried if they would fit but decided to try it and send them back if I had to.
I want and plan to order a pair of shoes but I really want to try them on. I probably will and see how it goes.
Answer to:
Are you now, or have you ever been, a member of Sam's Club?
You don't really have to have a lot of kids but have a knowledge of what you actually use compared to the value of it somewhere else.
We (6) go through a lot of tissue, paper towel, soap, deodorant and other things monthly. So we save by buying in bulk on some items.

WHY DID HE MARRY ME? If he knew he liked to control women, if he knew he was a violent man, if he knew all of that do you think he thought I was a different woman? We are separated, does he miss me? Does he blame me for his battery?
You will never understand the mind of an abuser. Half the time they don't understand it either. One thing I'm willing to bet is that if you asked him all these questions the two of you would only argue the night away...I said that to say that for some questions there are no answers. The only things there are is the sense to do what's right, the sense to do what's best for...

Most likely if you are trying to 'get' a girl to like you this is what's causing a girl to 'not' like you. Just let your natural self flow in the air so they will naturally gravitate to you.

I need to add that if you decide to file a complaint against them in court first:
1. Make sure you tell your landlord and get papers from him to that effect. (How long this has been going on & if they stopped for any period of time; when they started again; how long the music was played & what time)

My mom says I'm not allowed to date black guys, but I really like this guy and I see no problem with interracial dating. What should I do?
If you are a minor/living in her house you may have to abide by her rules. If you are not allowed to and you and this person genuinely care for one another...wait. It will happen and it may be at a better opportune time.
Also if you are not allowed to 'date' this person but you are able to have conversations/letters etc with them you will be able to develop a deeper relationship...

I want to break up with my boyfriend of 8 years. we have 3 kids. i havent been happy with him for many years now but only stayed with him for the kids..ithink its time to break up..how do i break it off without him being mad?
I don't think there is really a way to leave where he wouldn't be upset unless he want to split also. Otherwise I would first make sure that me and the kids are going to be safe. Not knowing his nature and being very cautious I would have somewhere to go and have family with me when I told him it was over.
