My boyfriend cries when he cuts up onions but he doesn't cry when we argue. Does he love the onions more than me?
He definitely does. Crying is the number one sign that you love somebody, or something. I bet he would marry an onion if he had the chance. I would sit him down and set restrictions to how much time he is allowed to spend with onions.. Next thing you know, he is going to start an onion garden. He's going to spend all his free time taking care of them. Probably will begin to distance himself...

Just because you rationalize a fear, doesn't mean it goes away. I can sit there and tell myself every single reason that spiders aren't so bad, but sit me next to one and I will still freak out on you. It's an instant reaction that logic doesn't control.
As for the hatred of snakes? Whether it's rational or not, it's their opinion. Let them have it. I'm sure there are things you dislike that...

In life, have you reached a place where the drama no longer effects you?
I don't let it influence me at the moment, but it happens regardless. It still negatively affects me, but I don't allow myself to turn it into something bigger than it is or should be. Recently the drama isn't anything I can manipulate or control anyways. It's easier to let it go then bother caring about it. I think the drama will be there as long as people are people.

OK with you that free-spending politicians are driving us deeper and deeper in debt and destroying our children's/grandchildren's futures?
Of course it's not okay with most people, especially with how one-sided you decided to word your statement. It's hard to even know what to do with all the deception behind ideas of improvement or turning ideas into reality. It's so much easier to whine about something like this, as you chose to, instead of trying to do something about it.

It depends on who's point-of-view you are wanting. My brother is a lazy piece of ___. What if everyday was Wednesday?
If every day was Wednesday, I would imagine that society would have adopted a different form/concept of telling time. Our week wouldn't consist of seven Wednesdays or be based on our current system. Maybe we'd cycle through a certain number of hours to fulfill the week,...

Somedays I do, somedays I don't. I adore the sun, and I adore being tanned. I wouldn't feel right without the shirt on, even if it was a bikini top instead of a bra. I can survive with the cute warm-weather clothes they have out.
..and unfortunately, our summer has been nothing but cool and wind. Where it was 105 last year, now it's 85/88. (Which wouldn't be bad, if it wasn't so damn windy.)

I've had a car with no air conditioning, but a radio. It's completely fine if you live places that rarely go above/around 90 degrees F. What do you think about this guy? Does he likes me or just being nice?
The only way to find out if he likes you, is to ask him yourself. You don't need to know if you're in love to begin a relationship, but you're never going to find out if you don't try. It sounds like he is majorly into you, but even if he isn't crushing on you, he seems like a great guy. Definitely somebody you want in your life. If you like him, go for it.

These kinds of questions are asked time and time again. It depends on the actual people, not their assumed personality traits. Just because YOU don't like girl #1, doesn't mean that nobody likes girl number 1. I'm sure the only reason you don't like girl #1 is because somebody likes girl #1 over girl #2. Life is complicated, but I'm sure you're referring to personal lives not life itself. I think we allow our personal lives to become more complicated than they could or should be, gotta love emotion and self-made drama, but I'm not sure you could go through life without complications even if you were able to be more rational than emotional. Truly, I don't think you can make life so black and white.

Are all women overly emotional about everything?
No, they are not. Not all women are the same in the same way not all men are the same. Emotions vary in both sex. Women tend to be more emotional than males, but that doesn't mean all women are overly emotional. The problem with stereotyping is that there are too many exceptions.

Needy. If you have to ask, you probably aren't it. I always thought of sexual orientation as which sex you are sexually attracted to, but sexuality is often defined by the emotional and sexual attraction to a person. I personally feel that emotional attraction is more for friendships, not lovers, and alone without the tiniest bit of sexual attraction doesn't make much of a relationship. I think...

Your relationship with your current boyfriend is forever over the minute he began trying to control and keep the relationship with these threats. You definitely should leave when he's not around, but don't ditch states because of him. I agree with Gingerminx, tell your new guy, family, and police of the threats. Good luck.

my bestfriend is a straight male but he always asks what im doing and he always says i love you and smacks my ass alot . is he gay?
Does it matter if he's gay? The only real way to find out is to ask him yourself. If you're curious because he's making you feel uncomfortable, you should say something. Otherwise, I'm unsure it matters his sexuality unless you're interested in him.

Do you know people who do not have mirrors in their homes? Are mirrors matter-of-fact or essential representations for daily life?
I do not. Mirrors are a bit essential because personal appearance matters in life. Can you imagine going to work without looking in the mirror first? Buying clothes wouldn't go as well either imo.

How do I use debit cards?
If you've just received the card in the mail, you'll need to activate it by either going into your bank or calling the number on the back of the card. If you didn't create a pin when you signed up for your debit card, the pin number should be sent to you via the mail. (I believe it's in a different letter than the one containing the debit card.) Personally, I found it easier to go down to the...

What is the worst character building experience you have ever been forced into? Who forced it? Parents? Friends?
My mother forced me into "character building" a lot. Her worst idea was sending me to a 'bad kid' school. It was pretty much boot camp for 'troubled' teens. I wasn't troubled, I was just a teen. She didn't understand teens in the slightest. Luckily, that fell through and I wasn't forced to go. Other than that, everything she did/required was 'character building'. I think it was her way of...

I'm offended by by neighbor's giant "Jesus is the reason for the season" display that has been put up every year for the past ten years. I prefer to count on no one. It's a nice surprise when somebody follows through, but I have a tendency to blame the other person when they don't. I don't like that I do this, but I do it anyways. I've found when I don't count on people, I will not blame them when they do not do what they say they will do and instead am pleasantly surprised when they follow through.

To what extent do your atheist friends and relatives propel you into good works and concern for society, as compared to your religious f+r?
Define "good works and concern for society". I assume the first is volunteering, and the second is conversation. It's a close number, I'll admit, but the thing about this is that religion does not matter when it comes to those two concepts.

I do differ in view. The United States is the same as it has always been. Humility needs to be defined in this context.

People see the world based on their own experiences and their experiences tells them that the right answer for them is what is true. It's a solid experience or thought that they hold for its truth. The easy example is religion. Since holding or finding or losing their religion has contributed to a better, more fulfilling way of life, they believe that this religion may do the same for others....

I would find it peculiar that the parents of the abused were more interested in making money off of their child instead of focusing on/comforting their child. If all wars end at the negotiating table why don't they just spend more time negotiating before costly conflict?
Because wars aren't all they appear to be. The claimed motives aren't typically the actual motives. There is no fear in negotiating to avoid a war. Fear is a key player in life, from temporarily uniting a country/countries to playing on our emotions during elections to helping determine which products we "must have" to be successful in life. There is also no money to be made by avoiding war.

Depends on their style really. I typically go for v-neck t's and v-neck sweaters. Forever 21 has cute stylish clothes. They're hella cheap and don't last long if you don't take care of them, but they're good for the current styles - casual and formal.

I think you are a bit arrogant by suggesting that you are better then those who hold religion simply because you see a different light. Do you know the Father? How then can you know Jesus? How then can you know your Self? To be delivered from evil, so you are evil?
Evil is based on morality. The existence of morality is questionable. To know your "Father", mustnt you first know your self? Even if not, you can know yourself regardless of what religion you hold.

No, not really. There are the people that say it, and the people that mean it. Things haven't changed much.

It is jealousy. Personally, I think it's way cooler to approach the guys yourself then to have them approach you. I agree with megcham; "Stop comparing yourself to her and start exploring and enjoying the differences."

What bad arguments do Pro-Lifers use? What bad arguments do Pro-Choicers use? Why are these arguments bad?
I don't enjoy those who use religion as a basis for their argument. I find it to be a bad argument because their religion isn't the same as everybody else's religion and I highly doubt they would give credit another person's argument for or against an issue if that individual used their religious text, given that the religion is different from the first persons.

How can I tell what version my boyfriends XBox is? It is grey.
If he is wondering, he can log onto xbox.com and register his xbox to his account using the serial number on the back of the box. Once registered, it should display the exact type of xbox. (I say for him to do it so it's tied to his account, not trying to be rude to you or anything. You could sign up to xbox.com and do it on yours too, but unsure if it'll transfer to his.)

im on a tight budget which 1st xbox360 games should i buy for my new xbox360 on friday between red dead redemption, nba 2k11, mafia2 other?
Fable III, the new Assassins Creed, and Fallout IV are great for single player gameplay.

Verizon doesn't automatically. I know they have something called a cityID where you can see the city the caller's number is from. Unsure about the caller ID though. Depends. Does your sister need to be put into a foster home or no? If not, what are your getting yourself all riled up for? If there's nothing wrong with your family, Child Services should see that. Your time is better spent ignoring the crazies. There's nothing you can do about her, so why stress yourself out? If she does need a foster home, well.. that's a different story.

Have you ever completely ruined a great relationship for no good reason?
Is there ever a good reason to ruin a great relationship? The only thing I have in mind is if the relationship had to be broken in order to reach the two's life goals, given that these goals took them separate directions. Even then, the relationship ends in mutual understanding and the caring is still there therefore the relationship isn't completely ruined.

What ISN'T dangerous to your health? In the USA at least, Tobacco was a cash crop from the beginning. Not that justifies the crop's legal status, but profit is made, factions are formed, and politics are influenced.
Besides, by restricting the use of tobacco, aren't you influencing the people's freedom and the right to choose? It's kind of that argument where you have to decide where you stand...

Proselytizing is "helping" others.
Idk, maybe it's more convenient than taking the time to actually help others instead of trying to inflict an opinion on somebody who already has one. I guess that is part of the joy of cherry picking which selections of their religious text to believe and live by depending on the situation.
Really though, volunteering would be a better use of time (unless...

You don't have to make your question into a poll if you don't want to. If you do, it's probably smart to have answers relevant to your question. Your real question should be 'Why are cigarette ads not allowed to run on tv while alcohol ads are" because comparing anti-drug ads to cigarette ads in this context is like comparing apples to oranges. If they were similar items, you'd have a case, but they are contrasting. If the cigarette ad aired and the anti-drug one didn't, you'd have a question, but it's the other way around.

When the waiter/waitress is apathetic up until we get our check. I don't really care if they are apathetic the whole time, it reminds me to not go there again, but to pretend at the end is almost insulting--as if I didn't remember the previous mood and level of service just minutes before..

Is same race education or co-race education the best option?
From my understanding, the idea of separating gender is to lead to improved academic success. Girls are more competitive around boys and girls and boys learn differently. With race, you're being superficial. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're taking one idea and fixing it with another without actually understanding the first concept to begin with.

Should police officers in any way hint about what job they do on their facebook pages?
Why in the world does it matter?
Facebook is typically used to connect people to who they already know. If a police officer's friend does not know that they are a police officer, it really doesn't matter. A person is not defined by their job. People who aren't the officer's friends don't really need to know or have any business being on their facebook page to begin with.

Personally, it's not the skin color that I'm attracted to, it's the person. Naturally, I go for the personality more than the looks, but even when the attraction is skin deep, it really does depend on the person. There are attractive people in every skin color. I'm not prone to a particular one.

All I see is people whining that the person they slept with isn't who they thought they were and then trying to backlash at the other person for their own mistake (with exception, of course, to the wife of a twin example). If this is a long-distance relationship, you should break up because you are being blown off way too soon in the relationship.

Either way, it looks like you need to break up with him. If he doesn't want to talk to you, don't break your own heart by holding on.

Giving money and building religious institutes is for God, both to worship him and to honor him.

I never send friend requests on here to be honest. I like getting friend requests from people who think along the same lines as me and I've seen around quite a few times. Idk, doesn't matter either way. It's nice being able to see which questions your friends have asked or answered, but if that doesn't interest you than there really isn't a need to have friends on here. It's always nice...

No, I just appreciate that they aren't a d*ck about sexuality. Personally, I don't care if somebody is gay or straight so I don't make a big point assuming that somebody is one or the other. It's none of my business and unless it's relevant to the question, it doesn't make much of a difference.

A co-worker shows flirting signs and does extra for your daughter that works there, and tells you she loves your kids? Is she wanting more?
Why don't you ask her if she (first) has any kids and (second) if she plans on having more kids. It's not an awkward thing to bring up, so just ask. She may think your kids are cute, or she may plan on having kids of her own. You act as if you're dating, but you're not, so if you feel as if it's too personal to ask, use your judgment. Unemployment has turned into a joke. A lot of the people I know personally on unemployment, are lazy unmotivated losers who take pride in feeding off of the system. You deserve it if you're sunbathing in a public park. It goes any way. Some couples see each other every day and want to be with each other every day at that age, others have work and school and spend what time they can, and then there are some who only see each other occasionally. It's really hard to say because it depends on many different factors.

Help. Don't fit in anywhere. Not Christian enough for Christians. Too religious for nonreligious. Conscious kills me if I have fun. PAINFUL!
Religion shouldn't be brought up when looking for friends if you want to keep them as friends. If you're trying to do it this way, this is why you do not have friends. Sorry to be harsh, but it's honest. Find friends through common interests other than religion and do not bring up religion unless you are willing to have an open-minded conversation about it.

Why does when something the price is lowered the item of clothing gets less fashionable/ugly? AND WHY??
This isn't true. Look at Forever 21, for example. Their clothes are cheap AND fashionable.
More expensive clothes tend to fit better and present the body better. They are more desirable because they are made better and last longer. Appearance-wise, these qualities might not be obvious. A shirt isn't suddenly ugly because it's ten bucks. It's either ugly to the person, or not. Sometimes a...

Answer to:
Why are there times when God seems silent / absent in a believer's life
I think sometimes God is like Gps estimated time of arrival and speeding. It takes a whole lot of speeding to improve your estimated time by a little, but it only takes a small delay to extend the time of arrival by a lot. What I'm trying to say is that sometimes all the good things feel as if they amount to very little, where any sort of bad thing seems to amount to very much. In this, in...

Depends where I am. Where I am right now isn't so bad, we use the fans the most and wont run the air conditioner until it hits 85 [inside] (We like it around 82), but where I actually live, you really do need an air conditioner. Right now, at 1025 in the morning, it's 86 [outside] and destined to continue it's journey up to 107. (We use fans in the bedroom, but the way the roof is slanted, we...

How old are you? No offense, this might have a lot to do with why you have found yourself unable to base a relationship on anything other than sex. Making a relationship based on something other then sex is really easy, you simply don't spend all your time talking about sex. More emphasis is placed on each other, life, hobbies, etc. No worries though, whatever type of relationship you have and...

We tend to make explanations for things we don't understand. From my understanding, the "split moon" [supposed] miracle only happened once. So.. what do you mean by there being a split in the moon? Yes, you are out of line. Even though you don't agree with her situation, if you are going to continue being her friend, you need to be there for her. What is pseudo-love? Can it be bought with money? Can the passion be the same as with true love, whatever those two mean?
There can be many thoughts put under this. My two ideas
1) Rationalizing: You could date somebody who has all the "right" qualities and appreciate that this is the type of person you ultimately should strive to date, marry, and grow old with but deep down (or maybe not so deep down) you can feel as if they are not the one for you (emotionally not feeling it). Vampires and werewolves are make-believe. I don't mean that in a sarcastic/rude way, but rather to point out that the traits that they carry differ depending on who is talking. I think whether "immortals" run fast depends firstly on what you mean by "immortals" (is this a separated group? or do you mean anything that is or may be considered immortal?) Distance is okay, but don't make it drastic. If you go from hanging out five days a week to two, it's panic mode and the clingyness kicks in. It's best to transition slowly. The better you know each other, the more you will know about how you both handle distance and chances are the longer you'll be able to spend apart without disconnecting or running into panic mode.

I wonder why people fight about this to begin with. If it's a personal decision on what/who somebody agrees with, why argue with other people over their opinion? And who cares what is right? If you believe, awesome, if you don't, awesome. It's not going to change anything. We don't know, and we wont know. Just because someone wants to insist that they are right, doesn't mean that they are right...

"Ourselves" is a closet full of masks. You act differently around your brother than you do your neighbor than you do your co-workers than you do your friends from high school than you do your friend you met just last week than you do people at a restaurant. There are many sides to who we are. One moment we are a bicyclists enthusiast, the next a civil engineer, the next a lover of horror films....

When was the last time someone else had sex with your husband?
Instead of asking the same questions with one word difference, why don't you ask ONE question with both of the differences. For example, instead of asking "When was. . . wife?" and "When was. . .husband", you could ask a couple of different questions to cover both points in one space. Like this:
"When was. . . spouse"
"When was. . . significant other"
"When was. . . husband/wife"

how does one decide whether alcohol or marijuana are moral or acceptable to consume?
First you have to decide which set of morals you're looking by.

If it's the law, you need to look at whether it is legal.
If it's x, look towards x to determine what x's stance is.

I think heads are more shiny when bald then when they have hair covering them.
If you're referring to people shaving their head to the skins, their reasons are just like everybody else's who gets a haircut. The haircut/style is a choice. Our personal preferences on other people's hairstyles are different then their preference on their own hairstyle. No surprise.

"Fix" is the wrong word. I don't think that it is my job or my duty, but I wont go out of my way to avoid somebody simply because I think that their life needs fixing.
If I'm going to go out and try to fix somebody, I better start with myself.

Do you think Celebrities should have to be good role models? Why?
It's preferable, but maybe not realistic. If you work so hard to be selfless and good for others, you're just asking for a mental break. Also, I think that if many celebrities were good role models, and one broke the mold, more people would pay attention to the one who broke the mold than the ones who were being good models. It's personality and individuality that is enjoyable.

If it's a Doberman or a Pitbull, you're screwed either way. (As in, they'll put them to sleep, not that they'll "win" the fight.)
Putting that aside, the obvious answer ("fight in the dog") isn't necessarily true. Chihuahuas and smaller dogs probably can't do much against a bigger dog no matter how much fight they have in them. I think it depends on both factors.

We were having a really good friendship to the point where I thought we were completely comfortable. What happened wasn't her fault, but it was a complete stab in the back. A complete shock. Answer to:
What happens if you let the morning after pill melt in your mouth then you swallow it?
Why don't you use Plan B the way it is supposed to be used, and use normal birth control instead of Plan B seeing that Plan B "is not as effective as using a regular birth control method correctly and consistently."
Ultimately, you're making a poor decision by using an emergency contraceptive as your regular contraceptive. It's not as efficient so you're only kidding yourself.
Answer to:
Can you take the morning after pill twice in a week?
STOP asking this questions. Plan B IS NOT to replace your birth control. It is to be used as a ONE-time EMERGENCY contraceptive. If you are not MATURE enough to use proper birth control, you need to stop having sex.
Answer to:
How do you use birth control as plan B?
Plan B IS NOT birth control. DO NOT use Plan B as birth control. Plan B is NOT supposed to be used in place of birth control. Buy BIRTH CONTROL and USE it as birth control.

Since your condom keeps on breaking, maybe you should start by buying the RIGHT size of condoms and have the woman on some sort of birth control routine.

i am looking for a girl to have sex for the first time, i dont know how to approach, any suggestions to find a girl?
Losing your virginity shouldn't be a let's-find-any-girl-and-get-it-over-with, it should be a I-like-THIS-girl-she-likes-me-and-we-both-want-it. Most people react negatively when approached for sex, with the exception of those who make sex their occupation.
Edit: I just noticed this is in the GBLT section. If you're female looking for another girl to have sex with, that's a little different...

Are you camera shy...? Or do you run for the lenses?
I'm not camera shy as long as the photo isn't staged. We used to go downtown every Thursday and the camera didn't leave my friend's hand until the batteries were dead. They were good times though, I miss them. No, I don't think I look "good" in pictures, but who cares? It's life captured and I'm sure as hell going to embrace the fun times I have with people whether a camera is capturing it or not.

No. I know that nothing good comes out of pulling your hair out. It makes you look bad and it hurts, which make you feel like sh*t and ultimately makes the problem worse. You're not being a lazy ass, you're probably just worn out. It takes sleeping well for a couple of nights, anything else is a band-aid. (Depending on how much you work between your driving. It pisses me off when people expect their weight to fall off while they barely even put out an effort. My friend did end up...

Did you find Paranormal Activity scary?
I thought that they could have put a little more effort into making it seem real. On different nights, both her and his boxer shorts change from either the time they went to bed and the time something creepy is going on or between the time something creepy is going on and when they wake up. You think they would have paid attention to these things. I get creeped out at the littlest things, so...

A lot of the consistent take-it-to-the-place-to-get-money recyclers I know do not have a car to drive in. A lot of them ride their bikes or walk. Would you rather walk with plastic and aluminum or with plastic, aluminum, AND glass? Think about it. Why do school's let jocks get away with everything and cheerleaders?
It's not their job to babysit and cuddle kids. If they're breaking the rules, that's something, but you can't ask for mind control. Life goes on after high school, you'll see.
Answer to:
Eat my flesh and drink my blood-what did Jesus mean by this?
It's the author's sense of irony, it symbolizes that we have become zombies by blindly following the Bible. In the book, Jesus died for our sins and now he's come for our brains. Brraaaaiiinnsss..

You dated him for nine months, don't you know him? I think it's strange that you point out his race. It sucks, but I doubt the break up is BS.

Is this age difference to drastic?
A 55 year old and a 32 year old?
For me it seems like it is, but if the two are happy together, I don't see why it should matter. They are both old enough to get something right.
Answer to:
If someone broke into your house, would you kill them and then look for ways of disposing of the body, because you don't trust the system?
No, I don't think I'm capable of killing somebody. To be honest, I'm not strong enough to do real damage. I'd probably try to wake the bf up, but you know how that goes...

Why do people say thank god when they are relieved about little things like getting to work on time but if god can get you to work on time
Depends on who you ask. From a non-believing standpoint, it's because he doesn't exist. From a believing one could be that everything happens for a reason? Scratch that.. I don't know what a believing standpoint looks like. =/

Why do some people still believe that homosexuality is a moral choice or a behavior? Why is it that people don't understand it's the way you are born... Do they think someone who is gay decided to be that way?? (I'm not gay but I find this so stupid!)
I'm sorry, but sexuality, whether chosen or not, isn't something that we do to be "normal" or to save rejection. If homosexuality is determined to be a choice, being "normal" isn't something to look at. It's a personal preference, not something to put on display to be "unique". I mean to say that if it is determined to be a choice, then it's our preference which determines our attraction, not...

Why can't Christians just say the bible is the word of God, and Jesus is the son of God, instead of interpreting weird theologies
Why does it matter? I mean, really.. People have different perspectives, it makes sense that the same thing would be interpreted different.

what tattoo should i get and what body part? and/or what piercing should i get?
If YOU don't know what YOU want, you shouldn't be getting anything.
A tattoo is a life-long commitment. Even if you do know what you would like and where you should get it, it takes a while to get it perfect, get the money, and get the guts to do it. Do not get a tattoo on a whim. It's not only a mistake, but one you're going to be looking at for the rest of your life.
Piercings, believe it...

How could a person get over their fear of kissing?
If you're afraid of kissing, it's a good sign that you are not ready for it. Don't push yourself to do things you aren't yet comfortable with. When you're ready, you're ready. Don't force it.
Best way I think is by practice.

You need to take personal responsibility for your actions. Your mom isn't going to spank you because you feel that if you were held to a higher standard that you would live up to it. This is YOUR life, YOU make the changes you want to see.

why do girls hate the word CUNT?
Generalizing against a word doesn't really work. Not all girls hate the word cunt, and you'd have to ask the girl individually why she didn't appreciate the word. Although, if you're calling people names, being called a cunt doesn't always go over well..

i really like this one girl for her personality and looks and i asked her out and she said no what should i do help me please!
It doesn't matter why you like her, just that she says no and doesn't feel the same way. If she's a friend of yours, keep it that way and try not to be gushy/feely or awkward. If she isn't, sorry man, moving on is tough. Good luck.

why do men ignore women they are attracted to?
Not all men are like this. o_0 Maybe some do it because they become very self-conscience around the one the like. It can be an emotional roller coaster trying to make the one you like to be 'yours'.

They say that people who are always smiling hide their pain is that true?
No, not really. Maybe they are better at hiding it, maybe they just like to show off their teeth. People don't tend to fit a cookie cutter even when you want them to.
Answer to:
im stuck between two lovin guys and i care for each of them, plzz help me out. it would mean alot
Suck it up and choose one of them. Whatever you do STOP leading them both on. To be completely honest, letting one of them go is what is best for them. Don't let your own emotions be the reason you keep messing with theirs. The choice is yours and you need to sit down and think it out. You are the only person who can make this decision for you.
