This morning I witnessed the birth of a calf. I have seen this many times in my life time but was curious as to just how many have also seen this. So my question is have you seen any animal give birth? I too have farmed, but prior to that watched, dogs, cats, fish, reptile eggs, insects all give birth of some sort. Nothing like helping a birthing ewe (sheep) have triplets, and all 3 survive. The 'spiritual' moment in birth is worth the effort. the animals do understand you are trying to help ( my opinion) and really the only animal I have not seen in real life is humans.
