lack of confidence can also be a problem ... when you're on your own suddenly 'oh no, there is nobody else here for back up' so you tense, your mouth goes dry etc.

practice ... BUT don't strain - you need to find your range by doing scales - work this range up and down but don't ever strain! my range is 2 and a half octaves atm! i don't think it's going to go much more than that though lol bottom G top top C! good luck with the singing x

Stand with your shoulders relaxed, arms by your side.
Breath in slowly.
Sing one note, holding the note for as long as you can without becoming short of breath.
Do NOT suck in your stomach!
Repeat the exercise with different notes using doh, ray, me, far, so, la, te, doh.
Use different mouth shapes and vowels like "ooh", "ee", "a" and "aah"...

I have the perfect breathing excersise if you sing through your nose ... get a sheet of paper, inhale, and blow out hard enough so that the paper doesn't fall from the wall when you let go. This way you can not breath out of your nose. Do this enough and the flow of air properly (out through your mouth) will become second nature! good luck x

Don't try and develop a vibrato - it will not sound good! When you're old enough and your voice is mature enough a vibrato will come automatically and you can learn to control it when that happens! Don't worry, it will happen you just have to be patient! Keep singing and don't think about what your larynx is doing! Hope this helps! xx
