Is maestro a good violin company? Good violins tend to be made by luthiers, not "companies". I reccomend Angela Moneff, who makes benchmade instrument copies of the Guarneri del Jesu violin. The sound is brilliant on the E string and resonant on the G string... It's amazing for its price range :)

You are supposed to Know what position to are shifting to... Tapes are for beginners who dont know exactly where to place their fingers yet... Plus it looks kind of ugly:)

I'm played violin for 7 years, and I still don't sound good. I have an audition coming up next month, and I am really nervous. Does anyone have any tips for practicing or advice? I have to play the first minute of this song (video included). Thanks. Play WITH LOTS OF FEELINGS AND DYNAMICS. If you miss notes, you will still show feeling and not play like a stick. It will make YOUR audition memorable as the one who played with feeling and the judges will pay attention to ya. Good luck :)

I downloaded some free apps for my iPod touch, but they won't upload to my ipod, even after I downloaded the new version for iTunes. What's wrong? Is this the new iPod? Becaus e the old version doesn't take apps without a software update.

Is there a way for me to take a story posted online (i.e. fan fiction, stories posted on message boards) and put them on my iPod touch so I can view them offline, all for free? If you have the new iPod touch, you'll be able to take screen shots of every page... I don't think you can actually access a site without wifi. To take a screenshot: press the home and power buttons simultaneously. The screen will flash and the shot will turn up in your saved photo album. This works on the new iPod touch ONLY. hope it helps!

ITunes crashed and closed on me when my iPod touch was still connected and wasn't ejected. Could that ruin my iPod or do something bad to it? Plug it into the computer . This has happened to me before and it didn't do anything to the ipod. The next time you plug it in it will tell you if it is damaged or not.

Is the ipod touch able to know what song you sing? Nope, the speaker on the iPod touch only plays sounds, not receives them... It can't hear you talk like the iPhone.

So I brought my iPod over to my friend's house and she downloaded some music onto it. But then she also downloaded a movie onto my iPod and I don't want it...but it doesn't seem as if I can delete it. How do I delete it? It took up a lot of GB When you sync the iPod on your computer, you will be able to erase the movie... I have the itouch and there's a tab that you press that says videos. It says check all that you wish to sync. Just uncheck the video that your friend downloaded.

Who is the greatest violinist ever had lived? Ha- Technically, Heifetz and Paganini were the best. Paganini was in the pre-recording time but he was pretty amazing ! In our modern times, Itzhak Perlman's interpretations and Sarah Chang's dynamics are the best to me. But I <3 Joshua Bell, obviously :) His recordings are pretty boring... I saw him in concert and he played this Ysaye concerto... GORGEOUS!
