Play heavier strings if your' fingers can handle them. Heavier strings will give you a great deal more tone and can be tuned down with less buzz. You will have to adjust the curve of your' neck and bridge height. Pretty simple.

Pretty simple. The value of a chord or scale is in it's sound. There are some dedicated(dominant 7) chords but I play all over the place. I honestly don't know the names of most of the chords and scales I play. To me, if it sounds bluesy, that's good enough.

It is a motor that does not work. I've seen some examples and defuncted them all. Look up Kirkoff and his laws. These laws can be used as an analouge for larger more complex designs.

Take a deep breath, relax, close your' eyes and do some slow scales. Don't speed up untill you play clean. Remember, relax.

Strings never come with a garuntee. You could have nicked the string or over-tightened it. A shop is not going to warrenty a set of strings. Sorry.

I play several hours a day. When not at home, I take one with me. Get yourself a Roland cube(battery operated)Sounds pretty good too. This way you can travel and play when you get there.

I always recomend starting on an electric over an acoustic. Why? Smaller more managable body lighter strings and better neck action. One more thing, I believe you'll get better faster on an electric. As far as difficulty, this is realy a personel thing. For me it was not hard to pick up...
