Anyone here wear a mask at bedtime for sleep apnea? How do you deal with it? My husband uses one every night. At first he wasn't comfortable with it, but eventually got use to it. It has to be fitted correctly or you end up with lines all over your face, but can't be too loose because it has to be a firm fit. But I guess when you know you stop breathing while sleeping wearing it even though uncomfortable is a small sacrifice. Hope it becomes more bearable...

Have you heard of the cell phone scam? People are getting text messages and when they are opened it's a $10 charge per message. News advises not to open any messages from numbers you don't recognize. Yes I have heard of that, a few years back in Australia there was a similiar story, where you had a voicemail, you called it only to be charged some horrible amount when it answered. I found a possum which was seriously injured, I removed my sweater to keep it warm, and it scratched me badly, I got my boyfriend to call the animal rescue services number, my boyfriend insisted I keep on my sweater and said I should continue to his house, I only did one, I went back. When I woke the following day my boyfriend told me the animal service people called back but the possum died.

I just got a betta fish this past weekend and by the next day, its water was very cloudy. i'm concerned about the water conditions. i put the normal amount of declorinator in it's tank for the size, but i need to know what might be causing this. Cloudy water is usually a sign of an ammonia spike which can and does kill fish. They release ammonia from their bodies but need fresh water changes regulaly like twice a week. Why do a lot of High Schools ban facial hair? And what is your take on this policy? Our High School had that rule, but then it was school policy to be in proper uniform. I remember a few of the guys had long hair but they were told it had to be tied back like the girls hair. I got two NEW female betta fish yesterday, I came home and housed them together, I know that it COULD be problematic. My question is: when will I know if they are going to be tank mates? How many days/hours do I give them? ( They are doing ok so far.) Make sure you check for bite marks from fins at least twice a day, I have read that you usually need at least 4 females bettas together to create a 'happy community' so keep checking one will be a dominant female the other not.

I have a betta fish and I think his tank is to small, out of you people who have bettas how big are your tanks? I have several sizes, females can usually be kept together with lots of plants, you will end up with an alpha betta, but it has to be a large tank, mine is 3ft long. The males have various sizes tanks too, most hold around 3-4 litres of water, to as little as 1.5 litres. They do get bored so more space is desirable a little plant will make them so much happier.

My goodness, in our public hospitals here in Australia it is free. And so is your 2-3 day stay which is free too, you even get fed 3 meals a day for free while you are there. Now don't quote me but the exercise store I bought an item from told me that the exercise vibration machines help people lose weight they just have to be a reputable brand. You can stand on it, sit on it or put various body parts on it (legs/arms etc) apparently it works by contracting and relaxing muscles to tone, and burn fat.
