I do try not to let random people that I don't know bother me with their opinions, but to be honest, I do care when people give me compliments, and I think most people enjoy getting compliments no matter who it's from.

But, if I were to guess, I would say that, just like other kids who learned about Santa, they eventually learned he's not real. But, perhaps, there are some who still haven't learned that Santa Claus isn't real...I seriously doubt that would be the case, but you never know.
