I like my first name Joseph (Joe) just fine. I was named after my maternal grandfather who was a fine gentleman who passed away many years ago.

As a kid growing up in the mountains of West Virginia me and my friends went camping and selected a camp site that was next to some rocks that had a nest of Copperhead snakes. We did not find them until we had the tents all set up, etc. We must have killed at least 10 snakes when we found them....

I also saw the History Channel program about steam trains and noticed the reference to "Johnson bar" to control the speed. I agree with the earlier post that this is most likely how the term "Johnson" came to refer to a penis. The "Johnson bar" is long and sticks out...
