I am able to keep it concealed in as little as a tshirt as long as I am not lifting anything above my head, but gets uncomfortable I usually carry a Kimber Ultra CDP II, in an Comp-Tac Minotaur MTAC holster (IWB). Very comfortable, I wear it all day. In that same holster I have worn a full size 1911 (Kimber Target Match) and that was also comfortable. Unfortunately the Kimber was having some feeding problems so I'm using a snub-nose S&W 642 (357 mag) in a pocket holster till the Kimber is back.

Don't put too much worth into what the nephew says. People are usually attracted to the same type of person, so you probably do have some qualities that are similar to his ex. I wouldn't worry about it, if he's into you, then he is into you. Where did you find the picture, if its still in his wallet, might be of some concern.
