How did religion originate? Did man create God or God create man?
Man created both religion and god(s).
When man was ignorant of how things in nature worked (fire, thunder, rain, why are we here, etc), they created spirit gods to guide them and answer their questions. As man began to settle the land these spirit gods took form and became humanoid. Because man had a family and hierarchal structure the gods soon had a similar structure. As society grew, the...

Mostly true, except for the complete lack of evidence for one named Jesus.
Most of the Jesus story is copied from earlier religions. The so-called teachings of Jesus are probably nothing more than a meshing of the various prophets and claimed messiahs that were around at the time.

Not usually.

What do you think about artists who sample others' hits? Is it an homage, or a sign of a lack of creativity?
Usually it shows a lack of creativity at best. More often than not it's just plagiarism. Occasionally though an artist will use another's work to enhance their own creativity and the sampled work will make theirs better. In most of the music industry of today, if one were to remove the sampled work for a 'new' song, there wouldn't be a new song at all.

Rule of thumb, follow the 3-5 rule.

The same as I would describe life for any living creature, fully functioning member of the species or capable of becoming fully functioning in the case of infants and young members of the species.
Your question is a little vague though.

Why does anyone care? He was a SINGER, not some great scientist that cured cancer, or some great leader that lifted us out of a national depression, not a general that defeated a superior foe, not even some athlete that broke a record that has stood since time immortal. He was a simple entertainer, doing something that most of us do almost everyday, whether it's in our showers or our cars....

I give all my children (under 10) alcohol at dinner. They like it, but wife doesn't. Am I wrong for letting them drink?
No, my children have partaken almost since birth, as have myself and my siblings. A small amount under supervised conditions is not harmful. It also takes the taboo out of alcohol so they are less likely to abuse it when they come of age.
In many societies it is normal for the children to drink with the adults at meal time.

Was Hillary Clinton's loss in the Dem Primary due to a vast left-wing conspiracy?
No, she lost because of two reasons;
1) People did not want 4 more yrs of the Bush/Clinton families running the country. 20 yrs was more than enough.
2) People don't trust her or or policies.
Answer to:
This girl i know breastfeeds her son and he is almost 2. Isn't that a bit crazy? She said her grandpa breastfed untill he was 4!! I mean, isn't that weird and creepy?
No still breastfeeding at 5 and 6 is weird, but it is not uncommon to continue breastfeeeding past age 2. It provides comfort for the child and is often a relaxing time for mom, as she needs to slow down and rest so the child can suckle. In our fast paced lifestyle though many children are lucky to be breastfed past 6 months.

3) drop the customs and traditions of your home(native country) that are in opposition to the new country.
If one is not willing to adopt to the new country's language, traditions and customs, why did they bother with moving to the new country? They should just stay in their native country.

Early Xtians were incredibly lazy. The entire religon is a carbon copy of many religious stories that came before it. The Jesus story itself is a verbatim copy of earlier religious belief with just the names changed. They stole the Jewish religious text and altered it to attempt to fit their other copied beliefs. Even where Jesus supposedly says 'I am the Alpha and the Omega' is just...

St, Patrick's Day - because it's a great time to party w/ friends and strangers.

Well many of my science texts are holy and I have read to many to list.
If you mean religious texts, yes I've read multiple bibles, a Torah scroll, 2 translations of the Koran, some Hindu texts, a little on Buddhism, a fair amount on Aztec religion and lots on Norse, Greek, and Egyptian gods. I came into a large sum of money when my mother died, and I payed off all of my debt. One of my credit cards cancelled me after I paid them off. I had not had it that long, and they said my score was below their new guidelines. Will this affect my FICO?
Yes, primarily because you have access to less total credit, on the other hand since you paid off all the other ones you are now better off since credit used/credit available is much higher, in the end it will be a net gain. Credit scores fluctuate often so it is not that big of a deal.

Let's keep kids out of stores in the first place.
No that wont work by the time they are old enough to want to get high they are old enough to figure out that we keep these products around the house.

Do you think buying your kids expensive clothing is ridiculous or are you all for it?
Depends on what you mean.
High priced junk like Tommy Hilfinger, Abercrombie & Finch, Nike, etc. then no way. I don't feel the need to pay for the privilege of being a walking billboard.

Is it crucial for childen to have a father-figure around as they grow up?
I believe that men and women each teach valuable lessons to children and the exposure to adults of each sex is important. I think that it's wrong that we have designated handicap parking in the first place, and don't get me started on these places that have expectant mother parking spots. Do you care if a politician smoked marijuana when he or she was young?
I could care less if they smoked pot yesterday, my concern is that these lawyers have no experience in actually running anything and see taxes as a candy jar on a receptionists desk that they can keep dipping their greedy little hands into. We need actual leaders in government that have not spent their whole lives on the government dole and that know how the real world works.

If you can, yes or no answer only please. Stimulus package?
NO
Answer to:
How will the government stimulus plan affect you?
Increase my taxes, other than that not to much. Somehow that 800+billion dollars has to be paid for and that either means higher taxes or less government spending on other things like roads, schools, defense, other social programs.

Answer to:
306 million people in the US. If you gave each one a million dollars wouldn't that be a heck of a lot more stimulus than giving 800 billion to corporations? 306 million dollars is a fraction of 800 B and we'd all be millionaires! That's Stimulus Man!
Obviously you failed math class in school, how giving $1 dollar to every man woman and child is going to help stimulate the economy is beyond be. the 800+billion to bail out the banks was wrong and the new 800-900+billion dollar stimulus spending bill is also wrong
Between the two stimulus packages/rescue measures the government could have given every man woman and child almost $5000.00 each,...

Most likely some polytheistic religion like most of the world before the dual spread of christianity and islam.

Why are the muslims divided into sunnism and shiaism?
It's similar to how/why christians are divided into 1000's of sects. After the death of Muhammad, the debate became who should become his heir as the head of the religion (Caliph), one group choose one answer the other group choose the differently. Since then rites and rituals have crept into both sects helping to differentiate them from each other.

Should sex education be taught in middle school? It seems that teens are having sex younger and younger and getting pregnant. Parent's aren't going to teach it so should the schools?
I don't know what middle school is as I never went to school, but I would think that by age 11-12 children should be taught about sex in a meaningful fashion, since they are enter that stage of puberty and are more likely to start becoming interested in that aspect of their lives, and start experimenting with regards to sexual activity.
Answer to:
Y do men cheat on their wifes i mean watever happened 2 loyalty!
Men and women view sex differently. Women have more control over the reproductive process then men since they give birth to the future generations, for men it is about spreading the seed of life over a wider field. Men have fewer consequences in regards to sex because they can't get pregnant, so most don't think so introspectively about sex, plus it more of an external experience for...

You are not ready. Having sex for the first time is a big step, you are sharing yourself with another person. We are taught that our bodies are private and sex is taboo. to break that barrier takes a big step. If you don't feel comfortable then don't do it, when you are ready and willing to share yourself with another then you will be ready to have sex and thoughts of doubt will if...
