Why do Jehovah's Witnesses get so hung up on DETAILS in the Bible. For instance whether in John 1:1 saying the Word was "God" or "a god?" and again whether Jesus died in a cross or stake? He died, that's the only thing that matters. As Jehovah's Witnesses believe the Bible is THE only word of God, they take it literally (except for Revelation as that was written "in signs" - Rev 1:1, New World Translation).
