Yes, when I lived in rual Texas, we had skunks, coyotes, bobcats, squirrels, rabbits, owls, red-tailed hawks (some people call them chicken hawks), rattlesnakes, copperheads, turtles, but I dont ever recall seeing any deer in the yard. We could see them out in the pasture along the far tree line, but not up close to the house.

I dont believe that God would allow a manuscript of such importance to be altered. Now some of the wording may change because we dont talk like the folks did back in 1200s or whenever, but I believe the meaning is still the same. I believe God divinely inspired the original writers, and therefore would not let the meanings change or allow anyone to do it and have it widely published.

There is actually a law in Texas that prohibits driving a pick-up truck with the tailgait down. However, it is hardly ever inforced. I have heard of the police using it as an excuse to stop someone driving in a residential area late at night, or for any other reason they might want to stop someone. The last time I saw it in black and white was about 1985, and it may have changed.

Well, if she has been going for a while, maybe there is another child, teacher, or activity that scares her.
