In your church's worship service, should you welcome a visitor into the worship when he/she apparently is of a different faith? How would you include him/her?
I am not a Christian, yet when I take my friend to church, my husband and I are always welcomed and made to feel as if we were part of the church family. Every one goes out of their way to extend the warmth of companionship to us, even knowing we are not of the same faith as they are. So I am going to say yes, they should be welcomed. If you research history and the Roman Catholic Church, you will find that at one time Marriage was a requirement for priests and Bishops. Why do some people think Catholics aren't Christians? The Catholics were the ones who established the Church of Jesus Christ. They assembled the Christian Bible. AB even puts them under Christianity. So how could they not be Christians?
I don't know why some don't call them christians, but I do have some problems with the misconceptions that you are spreading about catholicism on AB. No one knows what you will be in life, except for yourself. If you allow others to dictate your role, and success, then you will never be happy. Instead of allowing others to bully you over your future, ignore them and surround yourself with people who are willing to believe in your abilities.
Another thing to consider, a bully has no power except what his or her victem allows them to have.

Considering that the "Son" aspect of "The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit" didn't actually manifest until the New Testament, is it safe to assume that anything written in the Old Testament is a reference to the Trinity?
The trinity must be read into the Bible for people to find it there. It post dates the Bible, though there are a few references where one may argue people altered text to infer the trinity's existance. So no, it is not safe to assume the trinity is upheld in the Old Testament.

What does a parent do during a Christian baby dedication? Do we have to make a speech?
It depends on the church where the child is being dedicated. Some Churches make the parents say a pledge that they will raise the child with Christian principals.

Answer to:
Have you ever felt love just from an embrace, with no other real signs someone cared?
People don't have to use words to convey that they love someone. Its there in their gestures, in the look in their eye, in the smile they wear, in the gentle hug, the pat of affection, holding hands on a long stroll, in fixing something special because they know that the one they love will appreciate their efforts... The word love is not a noun, its a verb.

How did Noahs Ark work? The biblical story is not logical. No way that every animal could have fit on the ark with food and such. Plus the time frame of the earth being covered with water and drying up does not compute.
First of all, it wasn't every animal. Second of all nothing has to make complete sense. There are plenty of scientific events that don't make complete sense such as weather mapping.... they still get those dang maps wrong.

Having just done 3 loads of mixed colour washing, ive come to the conclusion that colours DONT run in the wash. it is just a myth. but who started/perpetuated it? and why?
Certain colors do run in the wash. One of the best ways to prevent your whites or lights from gaining another shade is to wash them in separated loads (Lights/Whites and Colors/darks) and in cold water.
Believe me, if I had known my red sheets could bleed for 13 loads, I would have never washed them with my grey set of sheets.

I think lowering the legal drinking age would be a disaster. You don't know how many people I see a night who don't know how to drink responcibly, and most of them are under 18. If anything, I believe that the parents of such individuals should be held to stricter penalties for allowing their teen to drink under age.

Jesus was born and died a Jew. Where in the bible did Jesus command people to start a religion another religion? I don't want to know about someone saying he was inspired by Holy Spirit, I want where he said so?
Jesus did not start a "new" religion. He was the fulfilment of Jewish prophecy concerning the Messiah. Niether Peter, nor Paul started any "new" religion. They were Jews, and kept the law. However, Paul taught that non Jews were not required to keep Jewish law because Jesus was the fulfillment of the Law itself.

Can you give an English bulldog Benadryl? Someone said they give ut to theirs to help with itching. She has red sores under her arms abd legs. It started out around her tits. She's biting her front legs. We've washed her in flea powder. What should we do?
You can give your dog benadryl, but I would consult with the vet first and rule out mites or other pests.
Also they can give your dog hydrocorizone shots first and then dose with benadryl with the appropriate dose. And neither of these treatments cost very much.

The name is Greek for "Destroyer" (Απολλυων, from απολλυειν, to destroy). It also echoes the unrelated Hebrew Abaddon (lit. "place of destruction," but here personified) and the name of the Greek god Apollo, also a "destroyer" in his aspect of controlling...

Does anyone know a sure fire way to get rid of a migrane?
Sure fire way... no. But I do have some hints for you.
You can rest.
You can take tylenol or Excedrine Migraine
You can apply heat or cold packs to the most painful area
And you can get ahold of your doctor and start a treatment regimen that could prevent future migraines from interupting your life. IMHO, I would do this one first. It saves a lot of pain and error otherwise.

Having a baby is not a tragedy or a shame... Having a mother who doesn't care if your 18y/o boyfriend sleeps in your bedroom is a shame, and a tragedy. Jamie is only a product of her environment, and while she is now a fallen idol in the eyes of many parents, it should be stated that at least she is keeping the baby.

YOu can use hot oil treatments, extra moisturizing conditioners, and gentle shampoo that doesn't strip your hair of natural oils. You can also sleep with a cool mist vaporizer to help with the dry air... which can also affect your hair.

How can you consider accepting the blood sacrifice of Jesus to be an ethical choice? In other words, how can you consider it ethical to accept one's suffering and humiliation on your behalf? Do you think it was ethical for God to demand blood?
Speaking as a non Christian here, but if God decided that only a blood offering would absolve/forgive sin, then who are we to question His decision... after all, it was His Law that decreed the blood atonement be made, not man.
IMO, it is far better to only have to offer a blood sacrefice once. That way you don't kill off the next generation of believers.

Do you think asking a woman to go to a friend's wedding and reception is acceptable for a first date?
for a first date, no. Its better to go with a friend than to have an awkward moment where you might run into talkative friends and family who will want to share all the crazy stuff you forgot about. Plus, you guys will want to be left alone to share things with each other, not toasting the bride and groom endlessly.
Answer to:
Will you ever forget this day?
probably not, since my dog just went skipping over the ice and landed in the garbage pail the ice storm had knocked over the other day.

Honestly, don't you feel the Christian Bible is a little too generic? It Seems it's passages can be contorted into meaning anything, perhaps it should be revised and re-written. opinions?
really I don't think that the Bible is generic at all. If you approach it with the idea that #1 its a cultural history, and #2. it is both literal and figurative in places.
Revision will not help people who read the Bible with their own agenda misconstruing the contents to mean something that it never did.

Does anyone ever really live "happily ever after", or is it just a fairy tale?
There is no such thing as "Happily ever after". Each happy moment of your life is balanced by a not so happy moment. You have to make the best out of both. And if you want the truth about a happy marriage, magic doesn't last as long as honesty and commitment and faithfulness.

How does one acquire the Apostles ability to be able to speak in tongues at will?
The gift is not to speak in tongues at will. No one can do that, and if they say they can they are lying. Speaking in tongues in the Christian tradition comes only at the utterance of the Spirit not the self will.
But if you want to know how to recieve the Holy Spirit in your life, you should see Acts Chapter 2:38-39.

Matthew 1:21 "... shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS." Matthew 1:23 "...shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." Did anyone ever call Jesus by the name Emmanuel?
Emanuel means "God with Us". It is a direct quote of the Prophets. Jesus in Hebrew means "God is our Salvation". Jesus was what the babe was named, Emanuel was the proclamation of the Prophets that the Messiah had come. Emanuel is a title, not a name. As to whether people called him Emanuel, I believe that the prophets certainly did, and Matthew alluded to that proclamation,...

If you are a Christian and disabled, how does Leviticus 21:17-23 make you feel?
This was written to the household of Aaron, the Levitical priesthood, a priesthood that was done away with when Jesus the Christ became the High Priest and made all believers priests unto God. And since there is no need to be ritually pure, then there is no need to reguard Lev. 21:17-23 as anything else but what it was, a mandate for priests in the Old Testament.
