Answer to:
What is the record for a player batting 290 or better for consecutive years who are the top 10
Ty Cobb hit .290 or better every year from 1908 to 1926, a span of 23 seasons. He never hit below .316 in a season and never played in less than 79 games. Since you didn't specify a minimum game or at-bat amount, I'd bet that that is the record.
Another guy who did it for a long time is Cap Anson, who hit .290 or better every year from 1871 to 1891, a span of 21 years.

Why did Preston Gomez take out Clay Kirby when he had one out in the ninth with a no-hitter going in 1971?
Despite the fact that Kirby was throwing a no-hitter, the Padres were down 1-0 and they needed some offense. Perhaps Gomez thought a pinch-hitter would get a rally going (it did not - the pinch hitter, Cito Gaston, struck out).
There is no solid explanation as to why he did it. Gomez said "I play to win,"...whatever that means.

She needs 300 grams. Each 100 grams costs P275.
So:
275 + 275 + 275 = 825. (because she bought 300 grams, or 100 grams three times [300 divided by 100 equals 3 and 3 multiplied by 275 equals 825]).
