I'm not the flashiest or most technical guitar player, but I really do LOVE the guitar. Is flashiness or technical ability all that matters nowadays, or can someone who lacks the ability to "shred" but who genuinely loves to play still be appreciated? I've had lots of problems performing in front of people for the same reasons you mention. I love guitar and I'm good but not a shredder. I am making homemade tomato soup, and grilled cheese samys with fresh baked bread, what kind of cheese do you suggest, other than processed american, albeit delish? I wouldn't want to overpower my soup or bread. Personally I'd toast my bread and have a nice mild Havarti with it. Maybe some fresh basil leaves as a garnish on the soup.
