What did the good book really mean when it said: An eye for an eye?
Yes, the old law did mean this, but Jesus said that although it has been said "an eye for an eye," that we should turn the other cheek. This means that instead of punishing someone and seeking revenge, we should love them and not seek this revenge on them.

Are tattoos a sin?
I am a Christian and I do believe in sin. I believe that a sin is anything that disgraces God. I don't believe that tattoos disgrace God, therefore, I do not believe that getting a tattoo is a sin.

If you were God, what would you change about christianity?
I'd get rid of how materialistic Christians are. Jesus drove all of the moneychangers and other people out of the Temple and now our modern day Christian Bookstores and other "Christian retailers" are just as bad. Also, it seems as if Christians are stuck on themselves and not many are wanting to help "the least of these."

What does it mean to be a non-denominational Christian?
It means to be a Christian without holding to any specific denomination. I personally believe that denominations aren't biblical as Paul tells the church in Corinth to stop saying they are "of Paul" or "of Apollos" because they are all one in Christ.

God isn't human, therefore He does not see us as humans do. He chooses to love us no matter how much we aggrivate him or if we have any flaws that cause others to stop loving us. There is no such thing as a failed relationship with God that was caused by God himself. He has loved us since before he created the earth and shall continue to love us into eternity. Why can't pregnant women dye their hair?
According to the National Women’s Health Information Center, the answer to whether it is safe to dye hair during pregnancy is not clear as of November 2004. No changes to developing babies were noted...

In response to the verse in Leviticus:
The reason this law was given was because of the pagan practice of marking their bodies in rememberance of the dead. It was a pagan spiritual practice, not a Jewish one. Which place is better to pierce, your upper-ear, nose, or eyebrow, when doing your own piercing?
None of the above. It is completely assinine to even think about doing something like that. No normal persons owns an autoclave, so nothing you use to pierce it will be sterile. Running the needle over a flame adds more germs, and boiling really doesn't do much. Go to a professional piercer. You'll be much better off in the long run.

Has anyone ever dyed and streaked their hair at home with a kit from a drug store? Did it work well and was it easy to apply?
I dye my hair with those at home all the time. It all really depends on which brands you use. I only use Herbal Essence or Garnier [the yellow/green box, not the 100% color.] The thing to keep in mind is that your hair will never turn out the color it says on the box. For the most part, those sample color pannels are done with camera filters instead of actually putting the dye on the hair and...

Has anyone on prescribed medication done the lemonade diet? If so, any negative reactions?
I've never tried it, but I can say that any type of diet where you eat/drink one food and use it as most of your nutrition for the day will not last and is not healthy. The best way to lose weight is to simply eat less and exercise more. A diet like this may work in the short term, but no one can keep something like this up forever and once you backslide on it, the weight comes right back.
Answer to:
If you go to church to tell your sins how do you know if God has forgiven you?
Well, you don't need to "tell your sins" at a church for God to forgive you. You only need to ask God for forgiveness. You were alreay forgiven on the cross, now you just have to ask for it.
However, you must make Jesus your Lord and Savior. A lot of people tend to only make Him their Savior and not their Lord. For him to be Lord of your life, you must be willing to submit to Him...

If you don't follow God's rules, but you have been a good person, will you go to heaven or hell?
There is no such thing as a "good person." No one is good enough to get into heaven. The Bible says that if you've told one little lie, you're a liar. If you've ever had a hateful thought, you're a murderer. If you've ever had a lustful thought, you're an adulterer. The only way to heaven (I'm speaking in a Christian sense, I know there are many who will disagree) is through Jesus....

Any hair color with "ash" in the title is a generally a bad bet with already processed hair. Stick with something that says "warm" in the title. Ash always makes your hair, well, ashy looking.

How long does it take for a piercing to close up?
It's relative to the size, place of the piercing, and how long you've had it. While my nostril piercing closed up within an hour, my eyebrow piercing has been open for the past six months even though I've had no jewelry in it. I've also had my earlobes pierced since I was 6 months old and haven't worn jewelry in them for a few years but they are stillopen.

I wouldn't recommend kool-aid. I used to use it in Jr. High and it looked trashy. Not to mention, I could never get it out! I must have dyed over it three times before it went away. If you are really set on doing it, I found the best results came from any of the "red" flavors.

My hair is a really dark blonde and I want to dye it a really light blonde. What is the best at home color to use if my hair is damaged?
I also have really damaged hair. (Dying your hair bi-weekly for 8 years will do that to you!) My all time favorite dye is the Garnier dye with the green and yellow box [I don't know the actual brand name, I just know what the box looks like.] A close second would be Herbal Essence. No matter what you use, make sure to buy a really good conditioner [I use Aussie 3-minute miracle] to use once...
Answer to:
If your original hair color is a dark color like dark brown or black, do you have to bleach it first before you dye it a lighter color?
A general rule with hairdye is that unless your hair is white, it's not going to turn out exactly how it is on the box. Almost all color keys on hairdye boxes are the same piece of hair with a color filter put on the picture. If you were going to go from dark brown to blonde, your best bet is to bleach it.

Yes, it's fine. I've done it hundreds [literally!] of times. Put a little bit of vasoline on the skin around your brows so it doesn't stain, don't get it into your eyes [and if you do, flush them immediately!], and you'll be fine.
