A bass guitar only has the four thickest stings, where as a regular guitar has six. The bass can usually produce lower sounds. And the strings are usually thicker so they sound different too.

Do you have a child? If so, I'd start asking him about if he has done anything with your kitchen fridge magnets lately. See if you put a magnet on the T.V. it screws up the pixels so many times it actually changes the color of the picture to purple or green. My t.v. fixed itself over...

Might I add, that they ram at a velocity to break bones and do very bad internal damage. And since dolphins are better at evading than sharks, its alot easier to dodge. (when you're at the top of the food chain for being offensive, you lose alot of knowledge about being defensive)

Its actully the outlet on your tv. When I try to watch dvd's on my PS2 the brightness likes to randomly change dramatically. A way to test this is to hook up another game system and see if it is the same issue with that. (My dvd player would do the same thing as the ps2 when i hooked it up)
