Why has my playstation 2 started to play in black and white? It played fine until recently. I changed cables, and the tv works fine when watching tv. Its actully the outlet on your tv. When I try to watch dvd's on my PS2 the brightness likes to randomly change dramatically. A way to test this is to hook up another game system and see if it is the same issue with that. (My dvd player would do the same thing as the ps2 when i hooked it up)
