What is the best editor for Linux/KDE that supports auto saving periodically?
I don't know if you have checked into KOffice, http://www.koffice.org/, but it supports autosave. I don't think that Kate will ever support it since it was requested back in 2002 and apparently it's never been implemented. :)

What is the best editor for Linux/KDE that supports auto saving periodically?
Open Office (http://www.openoffice.org/) is to Linux what MS Office is to Windows, and includes an equivalent to MS Word that includes an auto save feature. There is also Kate(used to be known as Kwrite - http://www.kate-editor.org/) and then a ranked list of alternatives can be found at http://www.kde-apps.org/ under the Office or Text Editors sections. Hopefully one of them strikes your fancy...

My car note is 60 days past due, I thought it had to be 90 days past due before they repo. I won't be sending them anything for another 2 weeks. Do you think they will send the repo man?
Since you are currently 60 days past due, you are legally in breach of contract, and the lender has many options for legal remedy, including sending out the dreaded repo man. If you stay in contact with your bank and let them know what's going on, depending on your bank, that might keep the repo man from coming to grab your car. All banks are different though, and the big worldwide banks...

How do you remove old uneven RainX coating from the windshield?
According to information from RainX, it can be applied as often as necessary as it bonds to the surface - not to itself, so there is no build up. Therefore, it is also not necessary to remove the old Rain-X coating. A fresh application simply fills in the voids and rejuvenates the previous treatment. If you simply must remove the old RainX coating, dish soap seems to be the best for this.

What is the origin of the phrase 'on the fritz'?
The phrase is now a common American expression meaning that some mechanism is malfunctioning or broken: “The washing machine’s on the fritz again” (the British and Australian equivalent would be on the blink). However, when it first appeared—about 1902—it meant that something was in a bad way or bad condition. Early recorded examples refer to the poor state of some domestic affairs, the lack of...

How did cricket get its name?
It's far from clear how, when and where cricket was first invented, although it would appear that within England cricket has its roots in the south east.
Reference was made to a game similar to cricket in the accounts of King Edward I, being played in Kent as early as the 13th Century.
The word "cricket" may well have been derived from a curved staff used by a shepherd that...

What are the core beliefs of Rastafarianism?
As Dr. E.E. Cashmore observed, "The belief system of Ras Tafari was so vague and loosely defined, even at its inception, due to its lack of a single authoritative voice, that what was to be acceptable doctrine was largely matter of individual interpretation." However, in spite of that claim, early in the history of the movement Leonard Howell gave the Rastafarians six fundamental...

When I power up my Gamecube, the light comes on then goes right back out. The internal cooling fan runs, but there's no picture or sound. What could cause this?
Here are some steps you can try first:
Make sure the Nintendo GameCube has good ventilation. For best results, make sure that the system rests on an open, flat surface. Avoid operating the Nintendo GameCube while it's on carpeting or inside an enclosed space.
Check the vents on the sides of the Nintendo GameCube for a build-up of dust. The system will shut down if it cannot vent...

Can I get a performance chip for my 1992 Chevrolet 350 engine?
I would contact Jet Performance Products(http://www.jetchip.com/) with more information on your vehicle, as it really has nothing to do with your engine, as it does with the vehicles onboard computer, as that is what you will be interfacing the chip with. In fact, since you did mention that this was a 1992 model, their Stage 1 chip should be compatible with your vehicle, as long as you...

How were V2 missiles aimed?
The V2 was the first truly ballistic guided missile. Earlier versions were guided by an advanced gyroscopic system that sent signals to aerodynamic steering tabs on the fins. But it was generally inaccurate due to errors in aligning the rocket with it's target, premature shut-off of the motor and inconsistencies in electric current in the guidance system. Later versions like the V2/A4...
