My cat sleeps about 18 hours a day during the winter and he seems purrfectly happy all the time. I'm going to model for an art class, and I need some tips on how not to be so nervous. They are just scrutinizing your wonderful body, not 'you'. Its work. I'd worry about the boredom of having to hold the same pose for a long time. Its actually kind of fun though as you'll likely see and you can enjoy it.
