Yes, you can. It's only when you become a brother that you cannot join another one.

Any ideas of how to furnish my dining room,I have big solid peaces of root furniture, like dining table, coffee table, fabric and leader corner sofa, really strugling to find the right light and some colour for my dining room,it's all wood and brown. cheers
Since you have root furniture and wood trim, I would stick with a warm color that's bright but a little earthy. Try an off-white, or even a golden color (like mustard or honey gold) with white or off-white trim (if you're willing to paint that too). The room should look much brighter once it's a lighter color than brown. These photos may help.

Personally, I like chrome. I think gold can look tacky. What does the rest of the bathroom look like?

Answer to:
Would a "hotter" wall colour (like pink) in the bedroom result in more sex? Or would the effect be just the reverse?
I have painted many rooms and seen the transformation colors can make - on the feel of the room and your mood when you are in it. I think a salmon pink (nothing to bright or "girly") or a burgundy red can spice up the mood of your bedroom. Even a color like beige can still be warm with the right decorations. Things like candles and paintings really can be as romantic as they sound....

I agree, give them notice if you can.

Heavy metals (like Lead) are poisonous. Why isn't Gold poisonous?
There was an episode of House about this.
The woman in the show was poisoning her husband with gold because it wouldn't show up in the standard medical test (tox screen). They eventually found out and were able to test for gold poisoning.

Does it make any sense at all for a college girl to live in a sorority? In what way are a bunch of girls living together with a Greek theme preparing for life?
I think it makes a lot of sense to live in a sorority house. I just joined a sorority, but I have not lived in the house yet. Here's what I can tell you:
Sorority houses typically have rules, like no men in the bedrooms and no alcohol in the house. In my experience, these rules have always been followed.
It's just like having female roommates. The difference is that your...

Since hazing is illegal in most or all states, what does a college student have to endure if s/he pledges a fraternity or a sorority?
I think it depends on the organization. I can't speak for fraternities, but I joined a sorority this semester, and it has been a wonderful experience so far. There was no hazing at all. The initiation ceremony is secretive, but that is simply so you learn about the symbols, traditions, and other secret things that bind you together with your brother/sisters. They usually explain the...

If GOD is a perfect creator, all his creations too would have been perfect. But you can't find perfection anywhere in this universe. Does that mean the creater himself is not perfect?
Some people see perfection in the universe (or parts of it). So is perfection "in the eye of the beholder" or is it just a false perception of reality?
Answer to:
Whats it like to be you?
It's probably harder than most people think, but that's because I'm optimistic. That being said, it doesn't seem hard (even when it is) because I try to make the best of it.

Answer to:
What is so unattractive to a woman about an inexperienced (sexually and relationshipwise) man?
I don't think this is necessarily true. Not all women care about a guy's level of "experience." Although I would imagine that guys with more relationship experience have learned how to get the girl and keep her. This comes at different times for everyone, and not everyone ends up with a lot of experience before they settle down.

I need to think of something in my life that I haven't worked hard for, but admire and appreciate, what are some things in your life that have just come to you easily, that you truly appreciate and respect?
My parents and everything they do for me. Thanks to them, a lot of things come easily. But I know that they work hard to provide for me and my brother, and that makes it truly valuable.
Also, seeing their hard work (for example, my mom buying a new house and keeping up with it, and my dad fixing things around the house) shows me what I need to live up to and be responsible for in my own...

Do you ever feel weird when you find out that friends your age are engaged/pregnant etc. when you're still dating or single?
I see so many people getting engaged! (I'm 19, and most of them are around 20-23.) I think it's great for them if they're really sure about it and in love, and if they're willing to accept the responsibilities of married life. But some of them seem to be jumping into it, just because they can.
As far as knowing people who are pregnant, luckily I don't have to worry...

It baffles me too. I don't really like it. But I could see some truth to it.
Sometimes I do change the radio station when I hear a new song, just because I don't recognize it. I guess that means I'm worried that I might not like it.

Why would one be in love with being in love, but never want to pursue/attain the real thing (a relationship)?
I agree with bettybaby's answer, but I think that's the beauty of it. It can be difficult and intense, but well worth it. Then again, it may take a long time to get to that point in a relationship. For people who have been hurt in the past (if a serious relationship didn't work out, etc), it can be scary to open up to the possibility of getting your heart broken again. I never...

Why do women say they don't like the jerks but continue to go out with them?
Of course most women won't admit they like guys who are jerks, because on the surface it doesn't make much sense. But maybe guys who are jerks seem more assertive and self-assured. A guy who's too nice can seem like "the friend," so maybe that's why women don't always go for the nice guys. But a guy should always be nice when you really get to know him.

I'm not surprised that you're still alive, but if you fell without getting injured, you should consider yourself lucky. A friend of mine fell down the stairs and had a concussion.
In any event, whether something like this happens or not, you should always consider yourself lucky to be alive.

One idea is a nice framed photo of you and any siblings, pets, etc. Or if you live with them, you could offer "coupons" for you to do certain chores without being asked. Are you scared of being on a plane?
No, I'm a pilot. There are so many things that make me want to get in a plane. Flying is fun, and I'm trained to react to any situation or "problem" that may arise. The way a plane is built, if something mechanical fails, there's another component to back it up. If the engine fails, the plane is built to glide a certain distance, so you can still land safely. As long as...

You said: "I personally think that such a bold and direct statement from the media may have swayed some people's excessive spending a little sooner."
I disagree (if you meant it may have swayed them TO spend). There was talk of a recession developing, and people knew the economy was in a bad situation.
It seems that when most people hear the word "recession" or...

Yeah, you could say sleep is a waste of time, but our brains are more alert and focused when we get more sleep. Then again, in your situation, you've probably gotten used to being sleep-deprived, so maybe your body has adjusted to it (as much as it can, anyway). After how many hours sleep ,you wake up?
I wake up whenever my alarm goes off (after about the tenth time). It could be set for 8am or 10am, and I'd still want to sleep. I'm not a morning person. Lately I've been going to bed around 12 or 1am.
Sometimes I wake up at 8 or 9, but I fall back asleep.

By trusting others, they will put trust in you and reaffirm the fact that you are worth trusting.
Then again, they say you need to learn how to trust yourself before you can trust others.

What should you do if you like a girl but doesn't know if she likes you back?
Try to spend more time with her and get to know her better. If you don't want to ask her out, have her spend time with you in a group setting. This should give you time to get to know her and determine if she likes you or not. If you still can't tell after you've known her for a while, maybe you should just tell her how you feel (just don't go all-out and confess your...

Yes. And if you told her outright that you want her to change her look, she may have been insulted. She might wonder what's wrong with the way she looks, and if you really love her for who she is (including the way she's looked all these years).
You can always make a suggestion (tell her what "look" you like or think is hot), but don't be surprised if she's...
