I just took my first birth control pill yesterday (thursday) and after telling my boyfriend, i assume he thought that meant he was safe without a condom. What shall i do now? I have only been on the pill for about 24 hours? You need to let him know that he still needs to wear a condom to be safe. And also birth control doesn't become effective until you've been taking it properly, at the same time everyday for at least a month. Hope this helps
