Well, that question comes with a depends...
Nature is who we are, and we cannot change that... So if we are the person/child, then nature, and the discovery of it, should be the most important...
Nurture is our, and the environment we provide, effect on a person/child... So if we are the provider/leader/care-giver/etc..., how we influence/guide/etc... should be the most important...

Why do Christians use the fist law of Thermodynamics to prove God exists?
As I have stated many, many times before... God (or god in any shape or form) is a supernatural being... Since God (or god in any shape or form) is this way, God (or god in any shape or form) cannot be proven or disproven, or even, defined and explained by the physical laws that govern our natural world... To say, try, or do so, is idiotic by any person on either side of the issue...

Why can't God just make this place Heaven? Take away people's freedom to do evil and make everyone behave. No more suffering and no more
Literally... For His honour and glory... True, God is glorified when we do right, but He is honoured when we choose to do right... Case in point, you never see angels in the Bible honouring God, they are always glorifying Him... They have no free will, the only thing they can do is obey... So if there is no evil, we do not have a choice... And if we do not have a choice, we cannot honour...

Do you like JB?
My fondest memory of Jack Black was in the movie "Jackal" when Bruce Willis (The Jackal) was testing out his new gun and told Jack to hold something and then Bruce Willis blew his hand off... It was one of the best pieces of acting on his behalf I have ever encountered... It was only topped with his cluelessness to the command from Bruce in the same movie when told to run and he was not quite...

I think the answer is no... My reasoning is this... There is an understood belief that every person has a doppleganger somewhere in the world... Answer to:
Christians, it's been said, 'Belief trumps evidence' in regard to how people approach religious faith. If there WERE an evidence that would cause you to abandon Christianity what would it be?

But if you meant what kind of evidence would you need to give me so that I would abandon my beliefs, then that answer is simple. 100% fact... A fact, that any person that is willing to set their own personal beliefs and only deal with the fact and surrounding Scientific Laws, that conflicts with my...

Even the Vatican has accepted Evolution. Why don't Creationists?
Because the Vatican is a man-made institution... They already skewed the Bible to fit their beliefs and do not represent Christianity as a whole... To quote a quote that I have heard from many different Catholics... "I am not a Christian, I am a Catholic."

Assume that life did not originate by chance (i.e. Life came about due to the influence of a higher being - deity). Why would one assume that deity was the one described in the Judaic-Christian tradition?
The Bible... Anthropology supports it... History Supports it... Population studies support it... Then you have the prophecies that came true that were predicted and written, hundreds of years before it... 66 books, written over a span of 2,500 years, by over 30 different authors and styles, and yet, it does not conflict with itself... That, in my opinion, validates the Bible... Does any...

Assuming creationism is a valid a scientific theory, what useful applications can we exploit from it and what scientific predictions can be made from it for future theories and discoveries? (e.g. drug development from evolutionary theory)
Creationism is not a valid Scientific Theory... A theory needs to be able to be tested, and since no one is capable of testing the creation of everything it will have to go on being a belief...
As far as future applications and predictions go... If you believed this is how it began, than Revelation will tell you how it ends... That is future predictions... And of course, the most...

Do you think being attracted to the same sex is hereditary or taught?
From purely a scientific standpoint... Can a person really inherit "gayness?" I would not think so... Think about it... One of the most fundamental factoids of genetics is the Principle of Survival of the Fittest... Only the strong (or best adapted) live on to reproduce... So, my question is, if being gay is hereditary, how can a gay person pass it on, if the couple is missing...
