Since 14, so you've probably never experienced dating other guys (your age, yes I know they can be so immature, but if you just stuck with this one guy, how will you know if he is the right one?)...do you want to be 18 and pregnant and spend your 20's raising kids while your friends get jobs,go to college and have fun? Consider: What does this guy do for a living? Can he really provide for...

33...it's now or never kiddo First stop hanging around people that you do this kind of thing with...they are enablers and aren't interested in what is best for you.
Head for AA and NA as previously suggested. There you will have the support to fall back on when you weaken. Remember this is the only life you get. Also try thinking about what you'd like to be (career). There are colleges that...

what kind of make up to use when you have rather small eyes?
Ask Dr. Phil's wife Robin, she has very small eyes. Don't use mascara on the lower lashes as it tends to make the eyes look smaller. Keep the 'lifting look' to the upper eyelid and keep it (makeup) light. If you must wear false eyelashes keep them short with the outside corner a bit longer...to draw other's attention to the upward 'swoosh' of the lashes. (lol dunno a better word for it)

The celebrities who thrive and survive are the ones who don't believe their own press. Those who crash and burn/too caught up in self?
Agree. It is those that make the movie and go home and live their privates lives. When you start believing that being in the entertainment business somehow makes you special, then you are on the downward slide. Look at all the poor fools who have died or destroyed their lives or others lives.

Do insane people have their own cliques?
We are all "insane" to a certain degree. You just have to mingle with the human race to know that. I believe that other species are easier to deal with, because they don't bring all the societal and religious hangups and guilt with them.
Now it is the Sociopaths that scare me, because they have no conscience, so nothing is verboten.

Funeral shouldn't be black but colourful it should be celebrated for them beginning another life into another world, so why not put colour into the funeral instead of miserable black it would cheer people up. Would you agree?
Not all cultures wear black. I think Westernized cultures have made death such a morbid thing and a frightening thing what with all the scary movies etc...and men and women wore mourning garb for at least a year (especially women)

A loaf of bread? Obviously this person needs food otherwise I'm sure he would steal something of more value. If I could quietly approach him and ask if he was hungry...I would purchase the bread and other food for him. Outside the store I would tell him of agencies that could help him.

Pfttt! Being a member of the clergy or of a church does not make one godly. Human history has proved that time and again. Most religion is a farce and there to make money for the greedy and powerful and to meet their own questionable needs.

Well with religions that were created in times that males had a misogynistic attitude towards women, they created everything in the masculine form...blaming all the world's evil on women etc. If one notices most religions cannot snuff out the feminine entirely and for some religions the female becomes more revered. Mary, Fatima. Of course Wiccan religion has always revered the Feminine.

Answer to:
Any advice. i live in oregon so i can keep my hair straight here, but when ever i got to like mexico or costa rica my hair get poofy because its so humid. what should i do with my hair?
pony tail, braided, wear it curly. Humidity is curly hair's enemy if you want it straight. At the beach with an on-shore breeze and there goes your hair.
Answer to:
My hair is short and puffy how do I straighten it irons are too big? I already use Sunsilk straightening shampoo and condition, blow dry it, and mousse and its still wavy?
Why don't more folks use dryers with the brush attachment. I'm not talking about the 'big gun' type dryers, but the one's shown on the package with the brush attached?
I've used one of those for years and thus avoided hot irons and all that bother.

Does anyone condition wash instead of using shampoo? How has it worked for you? It works great for my fine, wavy/curly hair.
Yeppers. I do. It took me a time or two to get it right but it sure helps the hair, especially the ends.
Shampoos if used should be diluted with water and not used full strength.

Answer to:
Do poor people have lots of kids to work the welfare farms?
No. "Welfare" does not pay enough to make it worth while to have many kids. It is not like people on "welfare" live lives of luxury. What woman would want to go through numerous pregnancies and give birth and have to raise tons of kids for a small check each month?
You are obviously not aware of how the system works and are buying into the social propaganda about it.

My friend wants to make money right away on the internet since she is struggling really bad for money, she needs to make about $200 per day to survive and work from home on her computer... what internet jobs are out there that would pay the same day?
If you find a job like that online, let me know.
I doubt it will happen. Online jobs are scams. If it is a 'real' job you won't have to pay money to get it.

Paying? Child support? I'm not clear on what you are having to pay. what state do you live in? One would think as soon as you are unable to work you will not have to pay anything as the disabled are largely judgment proof.

What do you think about the pledge of allegiance? Should one have to say it in school?
Even when I was in school I was wondering why the school felt we needed to pledge allegiance to anything.
And we had to sing the Star Spangled Banner! You know how many people can't hit that high note? ugh. Silly business and doesn't belong in school. Propaganda. Wasn't it started during the Cold War?

Why worry about things that even if you knew about very little you would do about?
You mean why worry about things because there is little you can do about what you are worry about?
"worry is payment on a debt you may never owe." Which is very true. But some folks are more prone to worrying than others. Humans are planners, thus they think of the future. The trick is to not worry about things you can do nothing about, or find a solution about what worries you.

Have you tried Inositol for anxiety? I've read so many older questions that I thought I'd start a fresh topic and info question.
Anxiety, especially waking up with heart palpitations and just feeling miserable. A bad quality of sleep for months on end. Dr. gave me .5 clonazepam 2 x a day and Wellbutrin 150mg a day. Nothing. I researched online and tried L-Theanine and it did help some...then tried Inositol and it has been such a great help. I'm finally sleeping decently and functioning during the day better.

Just keep doing it and you may wake up in a hospital or not wake up at all. Why are you knocking yourself out like that?
BTW I HATE Seroquel it makes me really stoned and then the after effects are groggyness and feeling a little ill. I told my Doctor I refused to take it. Idiot said: I have a patient that take 300mg a day. so what? What has that got to do with me? Can you tell I'm upset...

No, I don't shop on a regular basis. I'm aware that they sell computers or linens at good prices so if I'm in the market, I'll look at their website or check on their TV listing for when they are going to highlight a particular product.
Some folks seem to buy all the time and know all the hosts personally!

In your opinion, should cashiers be allowed to ask you for donation for certain causes while your paying for your items?
They should do like PetsMart and have a big donation box (displaying what the charity is) and then if you want, you can leave money, but asking while you are paying for your merchandise, is almost like them saying "See you have money, so give." Many people have just enough to buy what they need, even if they get change, that could go towards gas or food another day.

Answer to:
Would there be any water flow or filtration problems with a pond shaped to have a 5' round basin with waterfall and a 2' wide by 10' long curved extention coming off the basin? (like a very large comma) Pond would be 2' deep.
Well aeration with the waterfall will probably be ok, but there is nothing to filter the pond water, it will eventually build up toxins due to all the feces and urine. They do have products that are harmless to pond fish to break down all that gunk. You should talk with someone knowledgeable with setting up ponds and maintaining them. Poor fish.

What should we do with the fish shit at the bottom of the pond? leave it inside or siphon it out?
Siphon it out it will kill the fish. Would you like to live/swim in poop water?

I have a pond of around 850 liters, and have 20+ guppies plus other small fishes.....there is 2 fish (like catfish) which is known to eat fish shit.... one of them died recently, what could be the reason for the death of that fish?
Old age, disease, inadequate aeration, lack of proper food (they don't survive on fish poop you know. They need algae and the food you feed the guppies and I imagine they eat a few guppies. And even tho they are tough, if the winter is a hard one the cold will kill them. If they are catfish that are the type to be kept in aquariums with a heater well no wonder the poor thing died.

If you had to spend the rest of your life in a Movie Universe, which would it be? ie/ In Pornoverse, you can pay for pizzas with sex, all women are lesbians, and all men have 10 inch penises; in 50sSciFiVerse we all have jetpacks and food pills; etc.
I'd be boring and want an idyllic setting where I could easily go from cosy home with friends and family to exotic locals at will.

How likely is colon cancer to spead to other parts of the body
Very if it is not treated soon upon discovery and it depends on how long one has had it before diagnosis.
Usually it spreads to the nearby lymph glands initially. If there is colon cancer in your family you should have a colonoscopy to look for polyps which are usually benign and can be removed before becoming cancerous.

Well one can be considered a best friend, but not consider the person who thinks that to be one's best friend. Perhaps you came through for this person or have been the best experience for this person. Don't spurn him, treat him kindly you don't have to compromise yourself, but there is always room in one's life to reach out to another and time to include them.

Can fight it yes, but big money and are you sure your son is not quilty? As his parents you need to have a hard heart to heart with him and perhaps (aside from a lawyer) have a psychologist talk with him also. you don't want to go to court and end up with egg on your face, so to speak, rather than having made absolutely sure before airing your dirty laundry in the judicial system.

Then if you cannot trace back to a relative that might have been on the shorter side, you are only 12 and I am assuming male, so you still have your growth spurt years ahead of you. Is this a test?

Why don't people seem to be able to believe in both evolution and creationism? How hard is it to believe that god created evolution?
No one can answer the question of WHO created god.
(if you believe in one)
Answer to:
Why does it seem that people who don't believe in god are defensive about their position and agressive toward believers?
well believers can put anyone on the defensive. Look and how they try and manipulate our government and laws to force others to live and believe as they do. Look at the history of religion (any religion) and the violence and hate they have perpetuated and it hasn't stopped yet.

Just the rubber bands popping and you jump and people look at you strangely. Of course then you happen to swallow one. lol. NO gum! Hated that. Picking food out for forever so you learn to laugh with your hand over your mouth. I've heard of couples getting their braces tangled when kissing.

Hurray for you!!!! I would think being able to put on a much smaller size would help your self image. Keep a pair of pants that you used to wear and when you begin to doubt yourself just hold them up in front of you.
Again, congratulations.

My teenage friend is asking for cash for Christmas to save to go to Europe next summer. I usually don't give cash as a gift. What do you think about setting up a savings account for her where her parents bank, and make her first deposit?
Good idea. And give an amount you choose, not her.
Money makes more sense than a gift that may or may not fit the bill as far as her interests and this way you are helping her towards the experience of a lifetime.

Hmm I wonder. I'm sure many folks of all differing beliefs know it is a game and play it with that in mind. It took me a long time to even kill any of my Sims. I'd always save them in one form or another. But the ones that 'died' I resurrect them lol

Yes. The Bible is a book among many books. We could argue if it was factual or not, but I refuse because I'll only get cut and paste scripture thrown at me, no reasonable thought or proof for that matter.

Why do they still make men's and women's bikes in the traditional way? You know, with the bar lower for women and higher for men.
when women 'had' to wear skirts.I've seen pictures of women in long skirks and heeled boots riding those High Wheel bicycles and wondered how they ever got up on them???!!!
I think the lower bar is a good idea for both genders. Guys can really hurt themselves and the lower bar allows for all levels of athleticism to 'board' a bicycle easier.

What is your honest opinion of Jesus?
IF he existed and IF he was the son of God I would wonder why he came in a time when only a few people knew of him instead of in a time when the whole world could witness him and then there would have been far less trouble with religion etc.

Well when my Brother (who knew he was going to die, due to cancer) passed, he said to all of us in the room. "You can go now, because I'm going to take a nap." and then he just died.
We had an elderly neighbor who went to a nursing home and friends reported back she told others she was "going to her room to lay down because she felt tired" and then died in her bed.

NO she is a religious fascist and I for one am glad to see her gone. she is a stupid twit that did not belong even near a major political campaign

Answer to:
Who;s sarah palin?
An idiot picked by an idiot and now they are both losers.
This woman was plucked, like a plum, from her small, narrow-minded, provincial world and thrown into " the rich, good life " with all that comes with that type of wealth. Clothes, fine dining, attention, power, security, more attention etc., etc. and then immediately cut from the vine and sent back home. She can't bear it...

Before the advent of condoms, what sort of birth control did old-timey prostitutes use?
Condoms are not a modern invention.
They were in use during the middle ages and Renaissance - and even thousands of years earlier back to Egypt! However, they were usually made of sheep intestine, and were frequently just washed and re-sued.
Otherwise, it was pretty much unprotected. Not that a 17th century condom would protect you from much of anything...gonnorhea, syphillis, and...
Answer to:
At what age did you first think about having children?
Never really did. Girls at school talked about it because they thought if they were female they were supposed to have kids, which I thought/and think is silly. Just because you have a uterus doesn't mean you have to use it! Of course Donny and Marie would argue differently (no wonder she had a nervous breakdown)

Your grief is normal. Let yourself cry and good thing you have others to talk to. Remember your Mother was very, very fortunate to have you by her side during her last moments knowing she was loved. That is a great gift you gave her. Tears are normal and will be for quite while, but try and get out and perhaps go to places that she enjoyed visiting. It would be like you were with her again. :)

How much force should a parent use to get a 6th grader (boy) to go to school? What happens if he is too big (not fat, just big) to carry to the car? Can the parent be held liable if the child refuses to attend?
they should find out why he doesn't want to go to school. There might be a problem that should be addressed. Maybe he is being bullied. Or he could just be bored. Intelligent kids are bored by school and should be directed to other avenues that meet their needs.

Ignore him and think for yourself and no one else. How old are you? If very young the pregnancy could not be good for you physically. If you decide to keep it can you support it? Do you want to give up your youth to raise a child or give up school if you are that young. Talk with your doctor.

Actually many didn't 'braid their hair. They wrapped it in deerskin. The braids are founded in old movies. Present day Indians do braid their hair, but the traditional ones will still wrap it in the manner of their ancestors. I believe braiding came after the Whites introduced them to it.

Ladies with breast implants, what do they feel like. How long did it take to heal, and why did you get them? Did people notice after wards?
I was listening to a radio program and this woman called in saying she was thankful for her implants. She got DOUBLE Ds!! She says she likes how she is looked at when she goes to bars and clubs. Doesn't she realize the attention is directed at her fake boobs and not her as a person. I think humans will look back at this period of time with plastic boobs, and excessive cosmetic surgery...
Answer to:
I recently was watching a show about plastic surgery and they performed Brazilian butt implants. They actually sucked fat from this woman and relocated it in her backside. I was wondering if they can do this to increase breast size?
Nope , there is no telling how the fat will settle and you'd get lumpy bumpy breast and the fat sucked out from other parts get partially destroyed and unless you were very overweight you'd never get enough.

No it is very rational. You become a guinea pig, suffer all the side effect and generally aren't helped all that much, if at all. Drug companies push doctors to push meds on people at the get-go of depression or stress etc. I feel it is a terrible crime and folks should really research before saying yes to drugs.

Who REALLY knows what thnksgiving is all about? you know the real background story.
It is a mixed bag of varying traditions. The original pilgrims had far more a 'feast of' sea food than turkey. Cape Cod isn't called that for nothing. It wasn't until a woman living in the Victorian age (sort of a victorian martha stewart) who started fancying up the idea and since she was inland, serving of other meats, including turkey.
Maybe she was Palin in a former...

DON'T take him off leash ever. At home in the yard ok.
If you have trouble walking him on a leash, get a 'Halty' at the local PetsMart, Feed Store they work really well and don't hurt the dog like some terrible collars out there do. My Pit has immense strength but using the Halty he walks along with very minimal pulling.

Just think back. Before you were born did it hurt in any way? Were you scared?
Yes, we hurt when we lose loved ones, but at death they no longer miss you nor hurt if they were ill before death. After you die you will not be aware you are dead, so you have a brief time to live, explore love, laugh, and yes hurt and then it is over. You won't lie around being sad one bit. Soldier up!

Hey it is the man's obligation to use a condom each and everytime.
Answer to:
My dad died three years ago he had made a list of his gun collection and who they would go to. My sister has refused to give me a copy of this list and I know many of his guns he wanted my son a marine to have. she now says the guns are unaccounted for
But the issue goes beyond guns, the sister is withholding property that belongs to her son. I would call that theft. Call a lawyer! The guns should be registered you can run a search on them in your Father's name.
Guns are worth big money.

No. If humans had existed side by side with dinosaurs do you think they would have taken time to put dye/ash to rock to depict deer, rabbits etc, when they had to contend with those BIG GUYs on a day to day basis?
And yet not a peep or painting. And since they believe the world is what only 6000 years old, the place would be littered with far more dinosaur remains. And far less fossil fuel...

Do you think ABr's tend to be introverts (that's why we are tied to the computer) or extroverts (it's just another way to be social)?
Could be either way. Or some of us are just opinionated! :)

Is anybody watching/did you watch 20/20 on the safe haven laws. they are interviewing the parents who dropped off the teens!! What excuses parents use to shirk their responsibility!! Anyone see it and have any thoughts?
I've studied, read about it and wrote about it. I know parents can be at their wits end, but just dumping their kids. I do know in one case the girl had disabilities that the parents couldn't handle but since she was 18 they sent her home with the parents which I think was heartless. What will happen to her?

Isn't it the most stupid thing? Do any of us Celtic folks call ourselves Irish American, Scottish American, Dutch American? What is with African American when most black folks never have been to Africa? If you live in America you are an American. Your ethnic group is another thing. Same for Mexican Americans. Wha?

Have you ever been hit on by someone you work with that you have no interest in, not to mention of the same sex? How did you handle this situation?
Not with the same sex part..no. I'm stupid that way tho as I have been hit on by my gender, but don't realize that is what is happening. Friend has to poke me and tell me. lol
Answer to:
In past work situations, when have you felt most overwhelmed by work pressures? How did you react?
I quit. If there isn't support coming from supervisor, employer why stick around? If you can't say Hey I'm overwhelmed here let us talk about it and rectify it, then isn't any place I'd want to work. I know many people go to work day in and day out and feel overwhelmed and hate their job..well then why be there?
Answer to:
Your bf is trying to assist you in getting a job, you both go to talk to someone who can help you along, would it look strange if your bf did most of the talking in the meeting?
If you are nervous and upfront about it with the interviewer (of course having all the past experience, resume etc is a must and knowing what the job is about) they will not hold it against you, it is natural to be nervous in such a situation. The cool, sleek person isn't always the one to get the job.

WHAT ARE THE TRIVIAS FOR NURSING ASSISTANT?
Job details? The dirty work. Making beds, washing patients, dumping bedpans, catheter bags, doing what the Nurses ask you to do. But it is a good way to get some training if you plan on moving up to Nurse. In Hospitals there is a pecking order and you are at the bottom of it. If you work in a Convalescent Hospital you work HARD.
If you love people you will be willing to do the hard work knowing...

What is the positive facts and negative facts on being a nurse? what do you have to deal with and what is fun about it>?
Good money vs hard work Good experiences vs bad, sad experiences. Knowing you are doing vital, worthwhile work. If you like people Nursing is for you. But in a Hospital the caregiving is non-stop and you are worked hard. Fun part sitting down with other nurses at lunch and sharing stories of your day. Yes, you do get that morbid hospital humor, the only way to deal with what you see and do...

Why do nurses date cops?
Nurses and cops see the grim side of life so can empathize with each other. I found if I kept my stethoscope on the dash of my car, and when I ever got pulled over, the cop would see it, say "nurse"? and I never got a ticket. ;)
I'd never date a cop tho' too aggressive and adrenaline junkies for the most part.

Should HPV vaccinations (for the sexually-transmitted human papillomavirus (HPV) which cause 70% of cervical cancers, be required for schoolgirls?
NO It is too early in the game to know the long-term effects of the drug and our children are being used as guinea pigs. The powers that be in Big Medicine are just pushing it to make (more) money.
BTW they are suggesting it for schoolboys also.

I used to believe in Edgar Cayce and his medical cures..no offense but I feel the questioner should see a Doctor to see if they need additional B 12 and in what form. You CAN get too much B 12. GOOGLE B-12 needs and over dosing.

In "Silence of the Lambs" when the killer was stalking Jodie Foster with night vision glasses in his house there were shadows. Why were there shadows if it was in the dark?
You paid closer attention than I did to that scene. But I would think shadows are still cast even with night vision glasses on. Doesn't eliminate objects casting shadows.

Is it wrong to not want to get married or have kids? My family thinks this is a waste of life. I just don't think I'd make a good wife/mother and I'd rather support myself. How do you feel about this?
Yes from my early years I'd listen to everyone's expectations to marry and have kids. Back then I'd just be quiet but as time went by folks kept asking "when are you going to get married? Then "Why aren't you married?" "You only have so much time to have kids" FINALLY enough time went by and that was their answer. No Hubby no kids. I was open to...

Dear answerbag. My partner has been arrested 3 times during 5 year period for shoplifting. She has received Fixed Penalty Notices of £80 for each. Does that mean she has a criminal record now ? We live in UK.
One would think so, but call the Court where she was sentenced and ask the records clerk.
Answer to:
How much time can he get if he stil has 9 yrs left on probation for a dirty drop?
A lawyer would have to give counsel.
Answer to:
I live in md caught shoplifting in04 was given comm. service state didnt prosecuted had charge expunged. If I got caught again will that incdent in 04 effect what happen now. I call the clerk and was told the 2004 doesn't exist. Whats going to happen now?
So you shoplifted again? In the same state? Charge was expunged, but I'll bet community service ordered by the court will be on record. Check with the clerk and ask for clairification.
And please stop the shoplifting. Obviously you've been caught twice...you will eventually end up in jail or worse prison. Is it worth it????
Answer to:
I was convicted of 2nd degree battery in another state. I've since moved to Texas . Where can convicted felons get a job in Texas.
Check Craigslist for your area. Others in your situation have found jobs easily. Also FedEx has been known to hire without a criminal background check. House repair and 'security work' such as a bouncer in any type of establishment is usually open for those with less than pristine backgrounds.
Heck, I'd check with the Probation Dept. in your area of Texas. I would think they...
Answer to:
If someone is arrested, they go to court and the sentence is adjudication witheld. What exactly is that sentence. If they get probation and all goes well, will their crime not be on their record for example if a potential employer does a background check
If allowed you can have the record expunged after probation and all court costs and orders are fulfilled.
