That's a little odd. We tend to go for beer at the local pub. I don't think I could nor would try to convince my employees to do a "stay over". They'd think I was nuts. Canada by the way.

Using conversion from metric to USG and today's price locally@ .977/L ( Toronto) it works out to $3.71 in USD per USG. I'm actually paying $3.92 Can$ but that includes all taxes for road upkeep and construction, provincial sales taxes and the federal tax. Not many toll roads here.
