Answer to:
Which book is better Eragon or Harry Potter?
Both are good series, but Brisingr was kinda lacklustre for me. I like the set-up, but it kinda seemed just that: a set-up for this final fourth book.
Still, I guess Harry Potter had a few books like that (Goblet of Fire being the first one that comes to my mind) but at the moment I'd probably go with Harry Potter overall. Once I read that last Inheritance book, though, I may change my...

Besides the weather, what's a good topic for conversation when you don't really have anything to say?
Depending on how long ago it was/how far away it is, what you did/are going to do on the next holiday. If they're not doing anything much, though, bragging about going to Fiji might not be the best course of action.

What was your first vehicle? I'm 14 and I already have a 2006 ford ranger. My great grandpa past away in January 2007. He past the truck on to me.
Don't have one, and if I'm lucky I never will. Petrol costs too much, I can catch a bus, ride a bike, skateboard, or walk, and if I did have one then everybody would have to have one too (otherwise I'd just be being hypocritical) and the effects on the environment are reasonably obvious if everybody had the same standards as me and was allowed their own car.

What are some songs about hating an ex-girlfriend? i need to let this crazy ex of mine know i hate her w/o speaking, let alone looking, at her.
She's Got Issues by the Offspring.
F.O.D by Green Day (stands for F... off and die.) However that one's got a hidden track at the end which I think was a joke but probably won't be in the spirit of what you're going for.
Take Back, Reject, and Platypus (I hate you) by Green Day. All just generally hateful.
Oh, and What Happened to you? by the Offspring.
That's all...

Is there some kind of face mask that i can buy that has jalapeno's in it? - they really clear up my skin when i eat alot of them. Or some kind of facial product that has that in it?
You could probably quite easily make a face pack using it by chopping it up and mixing, perhaps, with other ingredients. However, eating something and applying it to your skin can have very different effects. The jalapeno might even irritate the skin, so if you've never heard of a jalapeno face mask it may be because it's going to possibly burn your face off.
If you're still...

Do you own the card game UNO? If so do you play often?
I've probably got a set floating around somewhere, but we've got games similar to uno which we use a normal deck of cards for. Plus generally we prefer games like Cheat, and Kings and Arseholes.

Is there a site on the internet where people that like to write stories can at the very least put it online for others to read it?
Deviantart.com is free to sign up to, and you can put pictures and written works up for free, as long as it's all your own work.
Another one that comes to mind is fictionpress.com, but I'd probably recommend deviantart even if it's generally more geared towards visual works rather than textual ones.

What is the best free flash game on line? and where?
It depends what kind of games you're into. You've got free online games ranging from adventure to point-and-click to resource management to ball physics and what have you.
If you're not sure what kind of game you want to play and just want to mess around, I'd recommend www.jayisgames.com (I'm no affiliate, sponsor, or paid advertiser of this site, I just really like...
Answer to:
How come commonwealth countries have prime ministers, yet are independent from their former empires?
Ok. First up, there's only one empire which became the basis of a Commonwealth, and that's the British one. Now the countries in the British Empire, at various times, decided that they wanted independence (although some took longer to decide to completely sever their ties, New Zealand is an example.)
The prime minister is the head of a democracy elected by the people of that...

Answer to:
Is our galaxy just at the center of the universe or is it a "peripheral" one?
It's silly to kid ourselves. We're just a bunch of hairless apes on a wet rock in a marginal galaxy. Besides, most theories argue there's either a huge empty "voip" in the middle of the universe, or a black hole. The only justification for our galaxy being the centre of the universe is our own egos.

So why are you alone wasting yor time? When you could be with me wasting your time?
Cause I'm learning to play this song on guitar and sing it at the same time. I've discovered doing both simultaneously and well is freaking difficult.

Were you ever a punk?
I wish I could've been... I've had no decent subcultures to take part in as a teenager ._. emo doesn't count, it's already gone and flopped in a corner. I like the DIY, anti-establishment ethic, and I like the music, and I've got a pair of jeans that are just about falling off me but I keep patching them up, but I don't think I was born in the right generation to...

I have feelings for a girl, we are good friends and we talk heaps. However the content is generally about her and my best friend. What are some good ideas on directing her interest towards me (and seeing me as more than a friend)?
Figure out what you have in common with her that your friend doesn't. Or find something she's interested in that you could get into too and dazzle her with your knowledge of that. (Of course, don't take this too far... If you show an overnight encyclopedia-esque knowledge of something you've never discussed before this doesn't go down too well.)

How do you copy pictures from a USB stick to a CD?
If you've got windows:
1. Plug in USB stick. A window should come up asking what you want to do. Click "View folder" (or similar.) If a window doesn't pop up, go to "My Computer" and look at your drives. (You'll definitely have a "C" drive, one for CD/DVD drive (mine is called "D")and others.) Double-click the drives until one comes up...

Is there any good reason I should mow my lawn?
Unless you get lots of rubbish on your lawn (broken glass and suchlike), or you like the manicured-golf-course look, no. You actually save water if your grass is longer (because it shades the ground around the roots and lowers the temperature) so it's better for the environment. Plus, if your lawnmower blades aren't sharp enough, they'll rip the grass instead of slicing it, which...

Should I tell a girl that has been my friend for a little under a year that I have feelings for her? I don't want to ruin our friendship if she doesn't feel the same. How/should I tell her?
Ooh. I've had this situation with a male friend of mine. It depends. If you're able to keep your romantic feelings out of the picture until you know for certain whether she likes you or not, then do that. If you're good friends, you'd be surprised how perceptive they can be/how much they pick up though.
If, like me, your feelings are compromising the friendship then...
