The danger line for temperatures varies with age (young people can have a higher temperature without ill effects) but the tingle on the spine sounds strange. You might want to go get that checked out or at least give your doctor a call. Tylenol is good for bringing down a fever.

When I was in the Army stationed on Okinawa I used to get a shave in the village where my face would be blistered they would shave me so close. I wouldn't have to shave for days after that. Nothing that I have run across so far can do that.

I'm really happy for you that your cat has been with you so many years. That's really great. I never got to keep my cats that long and none of them ever had arthritis but my dog did and she used to love heat. She loved to find a place where she could just lay in the son and keep warm.
