I think that some people do not understand that taking care of children and the home is a full-time job and can be very hard work. I think that it would depend on the age of the child. When I was between the ages of 11-13 I had to be home by 7pm. At 14-15 I had to be home at 10pm. And at 16 I was allowed to stay out all night as long as my parents knew exactly where I was and who I was with. I will follow the same rules with my children.
