Answer to:
Why do people in Great Britain and Australia drive on the other side of the road?
This is a question that has actually piqued my interest for quite some time. I live in the U.S. and there have been many cars that manufactured in Australia that I would love to own. Unfortunately, the cost of having it converted to a Right-side drive far outweighs the cost of the vehicle.
My point is, that only 34% of the world drives on the left....

Answer to:
What size of storage space is reasonable for a digital video recorder?
Hmm, really the questions needs qualification. I haven't seen one yet that offers less than about 40GB in HDD (Hard Disc Drive) space. It also depends on how much programming you want to save to a DVR's hard drive. I have a Panasonic DMR-EH50 and when it was first offered by Panasonic, it had 100GB. Then it went to 200GB for an extra $150. 100GB will be enough to keep anywhere from...

Answer to:
I think Tivo is one of the best inventions in the world. What do you think about Tivo? Has it enriched your life too?
Not as much as the Panasonic DMR-EH50! Basically, it's a TiVO plus a DVD burner in one unit. Wouldn't sell it for anything.
Answer to:
Which disk should I buy to record VHS tapes onto DVD disks if both the DVD-R and DVD+R are same price?
DVD-R, no doubt. After spending many years in video production, I have found that DVD-R's are far more compatible with equipment than +R discs. I do belive that DVD+R was originally intended for computer useage only, but since the dawn of being able to burn onto DVD's, many manufactureres made their equipment compatible with both. I do agree with Ephraim, that you should double-check...

Do you know any funny or goofy wedding couples name combinations? Jay Leno has presented several. In one the guy's last name was Gass, and the girl's name was Kramp. They are real! He shows the newspaper announcement! Can you give another real one?
I had an employee who's name was Lindsay Hary. Her husband-to-be's name was Frank Krack! (Hary Krack)
A friend of a friends wedding:
Sarah Anto married George Bottik (we teased them for months about it being the "Antibiotic" Wedding!)

Would u try to workout a dented relationship if ur GF says that its upto u to take the intiative to start working on it and the she will follow just cos she is a girl. And also wat if she cannot assure that u will endup together inspite of tryin ur best?
Sounds like she doesn't even give a damn about your relationship. You can try your best to work things out, but it takes two to tango. Communication is the key to success with ANY relationship and it sounds like your girlfriend is lazy and wants YOU to fix everything that's wrong. Unfortunately, YOU might not be the one at fault, so then what? I say move on without her. She's...

My penis is 10 inches long. Is there something wrong with me?
Yes. What's wrong, is that you're either incorrectly measuring your penis, or you're not properly instructed on how to read a measuring tape.

I like a shy guy. He has my number, but hasn't called. Should I contact him?
Absolutely! If you're interested in him, there's only one way to find out if it's reciprocal. If he hasn't called you because he's not interested in you, then you'll be able to pick up those kinds of signals fairly easily within the first few minutes of a conversation with him. But at least you'll know for sure. If he's shy, he's probably PRAYING...

Answer to:
What is the etiquette for conversations while at the urinal?
None! There are to be zero conversations at the urinal. Dudes don't talk to other dudes while in the restroom. Women are perplexed by this, but if you compare the ladies room to the mens room, besides a different decor, you'll also notice a difference in the decibel level. However, if everyone in the mens room is wasted, all bets are off, because the converastions at that point are...

Answer to:
If you approach an isolated intersection, is it legal to treat a red light as a stop sign and proceed through the red light when safe?
No, although I'm not familiar with most motorcycle traffic law, my suggestion, if you are waiting forever, is to make a (safe) right turn on red instead. Then just turn around and go back through the green light.
Answer to:
If I have a clear title, but I know that a lien exists, is it still legal to sell the car? Does the DMV have the lien on record?
Actually, your (very good) question is tri-fold. [Before delving in here, I must make the assumption that we're talking about a "personal" lien, as I know of no commercial lender that would surrender the title without having been paid for the vehicle.] But in any case: First of all, the DMV does not concern itself with individuals' financial matters and therefore, it does...
Answer to:
Can they take you to jail for hiding a car from a repossessor?
Nope. As earlier answered, repossesions are a civil matter. Not to mention that the only person who can report their vehicle stolen, is the REGISTERED owner of the vehicle. (Not the lien-holder.)

I have a 2003 V6 Ford Ranger. At 90 MPH the truck looses power and starts to hesitate. What might cause this?
It sounds like the speed-governor is kicking in. Given that year, make and model, I would almost bet money on it. They are generally set to activate anywhere from 80-95mph. The effect, which you've perfectly described, is similar to running out of gas-- until your speed comes back down. You may be able to install a "super-chip" or a "diablo chip" for Fords in order to...

How do I view the numbers stored on my SIM card when I can't read them on my phone's display?
Ah ha! I too, had to figure this one out a few months ago! Unfortunately, your options are fairly limited. Option A: If your phone has a USB input, you can connect a USB cable from your phone to the computer, however, that would most likely involve downloading a driver / software for about $45, since I'm pretty sure I already know which make and model you're refering to... Option B,...
Answer to:
How do I stop myself hitting golf shots "from out to in"?
If I understand your question correctly, it is that your swing is making the ball veer "out" to the right... that is called a "slice". Option A: If the ball is making good contact, then close your club face (where the ball makes contact with the club) slightly by rotating the club counter-clockwise just a little without changing your overall swing. If the ball veers too far...

Answer to:
Could I get out of a speeding ticket if I really needed to go to the toilet? Would I need to soil myself as proof?
Possibly. Like anyone else, cops are people too. If you were really, honestly, speeding in order to make it to a toilet, it is possible that an officer would give you a break --no pun intended-- so long as you weren't being completely reckless. However, it doesn't mean that he/she has to. Laws are laws, and if you failed to budget your time more efficiently, or get off at that last...
