I'm traveling to Dubai on business and plan to visit Pakistan too. My purpose is visit our customer business. I will be traveling from Dubai to Karachi to Lehore. My parents and friends are worried. Does anyone have any experience with this? I would not be worried at all about traveling to Dubai. I have a lot of close family, and family friends there. Dubai is safe, and might I add...absolutely gorgeous. :) However, Pakistan I would be a little hesitant about. :-/

There's still a lot of nice people out there willing to help out someone that's in need! You can also check out what people are selling on Craigslist...it's usually for a reasonable price!

If I remember correctly if you don't participate in the program then your food stamps will wind up being terminated after 3 months. It could be different where you are, and so I can't say for sure. You may want to do a little research on it for where you live, and/or talk to somebody at the Food Stamp office about it.

He is in AA Really depends on who you ask. Some people consider Marijuana to be a drug, and others don't. In my personal opinion...smoking a joint a week is not a huge deal, and I don't think it makes you a drug addict. However, I think marijuana is not a huge deal in the first place. Alcohol, Cocaine, Meth...those are big deals to me.

Drink when we woke up, drink and drive to go get more alcohol at a friends house, stay there and drink all night, and drink and drive again. We bought a new TV from Best Buy - 52" LCD HDTV - they sold us a calibration tuneup at 100 hours to adjust the TV to lower the energy and make the picture better. Has anyone else done this? Are we being sold something worthless? Cost was 300.00 I used to work for Best Buy. They will tell you they are "giving you the best picture posible". They have to sell a certain number of calibrations in a period of time, and meet their quota. Honestly...your picture would have been just fine without it. Charging $300 is ridiculous, and I've always thought that. Then again they jack up the price for pretty much everything.

Hi there, i am overwhelmed with clothes, shoes and cosmetic and girlie stuff galore..some of the clothes/shoes have not even been worn...&. expensive make up /skin care et, .i have no room to store these properly . Too good to chuck out. any suggestion? You could post an ad on Craigslist for them or donate them to a thrift store. Those are the two I usually do myself :)

My Son was just charged with Assault 1 in Oregon. Is there a chance he will do time? Im in Colorado, and only familiar with CO laws, but I was charged with assault & battery. I did one night in jail, and that's it. On 1 year probation and have to take classes for 36 weeks. I'm not sure how much that varies in Oregon, but I would ask his lawyer (if he has one).
