With a ratchet and an oil seneor socket. Seriously, I gave my haynes manual away with my 04 f150 so I don't know were it is. It is most likely on the back of the block on top. Or on the side(s) in between the exhast manifold. You do need a special socket. Do try and do it when the engine is hot!

Buy a new car. To fix properly you need to replace the entire section of line. You can buy a length of line with 2 fittings on it or buy a blank line, fittings, a flare tool. Either way you will need a tubing bending jig. You will also need brake fluid and a friend to help you bleed all 4 wheels. It will help to have s line wrench for the fittings

The engine combo in 1984 was rare, it was only installed in large trucks and they are not often scrapped, but rebuit.
The best way to go would be a rebuild or a direct replacement from the dealer.

How to change the radio/cigarette lighter fuse in a 1996 Honda Accord LX? I have the box cover, but can't decipher how it correlates to the fuse layout.
I don't know which one it is, but if it is bad the blown one will be the one for the radio/lighter

Every 4x4 from the big three I have ever seen will only go into 4wd low when in neutral and at a dead stop
you may have been able to shift into 4wd even though you pushed the low switch when moving, but I odubt it was low gear

The CV 'boot ' is just a dust cover that hold grease in and keeps dirt out
The boot is bad and has been for some time; the boot cracked, leaked grease, and then the joint wore out
The clunking is from a bad CV (constant velocity) joint
and if it is clunking, there is about a 90% chance the halfshaft (axle) is bad also
You could buy a new axle and just replace the bad joint, but...
