Answer to:
Do Mormons study the Bible?
The problem here is who's interpretation of 'The' Bible is accepted to be true. Although read this Bible verse carefully:
Deuteronomy 4:2
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish [ought] from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

For the past 2 months I have been getting sick at night at the same time. I get dizzy, migraine, and sometimes throw up. A few nights ago at work I got so sick i almost passed out and I had to go home. What am I sick with Should i go to the doctor?
Without a question, go to the doctor and get a full physical. Your doctor will likely have you get blood work done, from which they will be able to detect a variety of things you may be have problems with. Sounds like it may be some sort of vitamin deficiency..?

My 3 yr old male cat has been losing weight, and is now vomiting periodically. I haven't changed foods recently, and he doesn't go outside. Any ideas/suggestions before I go running to the vet?
Sounds like he may have a tape-worm. Is he eating normally? Mention that to the vet and he may have you try some medication to 'pass' the worm (if thats what it is)

Spring is awesome - it's like a new beginning. Where I live, we have alot of ice and snow, so spring means all that melts and things start turning green again - good times! Barbeques, fresh grass and driving with the windows down are just a few things I look forward to when spring arrives!

Awesome idea - for 'Earth Day' only though. If they were to always give out free ones then eventually it would be just another wasted resource. We've been using recyclable shopping bags for quite some time now - beats plastic bags in strength and quality too. Plastic grocery bags are actually partially made from recycled fish-oils and byproducts, but are not reusable like a...

Sounds very risky - it may depend on how soon after you do that, that you take the test. I agree with Ms No-Sex, just give yourself a day before the test and drink as much water as you can. Ultimately, you should give yourself about 3-4 months before the test and stay clean, that will work the best obviously...

Yep, i concur - only smoke in the privacy of your home. Stay outside if you can - the smell inside your house may not be something you want to smell all the time. I'd recommend getting a glass pipe to smoke with instead of a 'wrapped doobie', since you'll be smoking all that paper unnecessarily and it's not really that healthy. Anything older than Windows XP is a bad idea if you plan to be online and surfing the internet, simply because it's horribly insecure and no longer supported by Microsoft - even with a good virus scanner and firewall, those old OS's are risky to use online. At this point, even Window's Vista's days are numbered, as the next OS from Microsoft is coming out likely sometime...

My 4 year old girls were invited to a birthday party for a 5 year old. The invitation said to please not bring presents. Do you really show up at a birthday party for a child and not bring a present?
There has to be a reason for this - regardless of what that reason is, you should respectfully not bring a gift. However, many people don't consider a card a gift, so I'd think it wouldn't hurt to get a birthday card maybe...?

How do you stop a 26 month old from biting you?
It sounds like a spanking is in order - some may tell you to 'bite back', but understandably that isn't everyone's 'style'. At that age, they don't understand that it really 'hurts' you - only that it gets your attention. If he/she is just playing, then maybe you can make up a 'playful' way to pinch or get back at them that is not...

My 14-month-old is climbing over the new, taller gate I put in the doorway. Is there anything else I can do besides just taking it down? (I really need to keep her out of the kitchen.)
Is it permanently attached to the doorway? Can you move it up about a foot or so to prevent this? After trying to go over top of it, she probably won't try to go 'under' it... =) We used to have a gate like that and it used suction cups to attach to the wall, so it could be adjusted to fit higher in the doorway...

'Out drinking until 4:00 am' can mean alot of things..lol. If it was a 'girl's night out', then I don't see anything wrong with it unless it's a 'weekly' thing, then I'd start to worry. Sometimes I need a late night out with the guys, but not ALL the time - what time it is when I get home is irrelevant - my wife trusts me. =)

We are currently having band practice at my house in a small extra bedroom with plaster walls. A guitar amp at even moderate volume is deafening. Dampening should be my goal, correct? Is there an affordable sound dampening material to apply to thewalls?
A friend of mine used to swear by the foam egg-cartons. If you have enough of them readily available, cover the wall with them top-to bottom. You want to over-lap them so the concave egg part is consistent.

My friend was hired by my company to do 60 pieces of artwork at 10 dollars each. She completed the first 15 & was paid $150. She completed the rest and now my work won't pay her because they say the work is unsatisfactory. Can she legally sue?
It's a fairly small amount of $$ considering how much a lawyer costs, even in small claims court. Was there a signed contract and does she have access to it? It helps if you have a friend who is a lawyer and can give you 'free' legal advise. The first thing they will ask for is a binding contract though - if you don't have that then you don't have much to back...

My body has been acting very strange lately. For ex... acne, stomach aches, hunger, tender breasts, headaches. Took a prego test-negative.my period is due in a week... any ideas?
The best thing to do is go see a doctor and get a professional opinion - part of your symptoms are probably psycological due to worrying about it. It's funny how we make a mountain out of a mole-hill, especially regarding our health when we jump to conclusions as to why we're feeling the way we do. Get yourself to a doctor and stop worrying! =)

Why do mens feet stink no matter how long they wear their socks , they could wear their socks for 20 min and their feet will still stink?
Correct me if i'm wrong, but I think men's feet have more sweat glands in them. More sweat = more stinky smells...lol. The more attractive a person is..the harder it is to forget about them?
It depends what you mean by 'attractive'. Physical attraction would seem to be the obvious one, but for most people, it's what's inside that makes them 'attractive', and that's the part that is the hardest to forget if the person has had an emotional impact on you in some way.

Ok Lee, i'll take your side on this one and take the chucks over the bo. The bo-staff has the advantage because of it's reach obviously, but theoretically, the chucks are much faster and can be a whole lot more deceiving and deadly with the correct amount of skill. You could go deeper into the fact that the bo restricts movement to a single shaft and the chucks break it up and allow...
Answer to:
Is a cat capable of killing a 10 pound rabbit?
I think so - when cats are going for the 'kill', they will often take to the victim's throat first. Unless the rabbit is quick enough to be able to fend that off, it's a goner no matter how big it is. Same goes for birds - it's rare, but cats can take down a bird twice it's size if it can sneak up on it successfully. =)

Ha ha ha... our cats do that too. They nonchalantly walk across our faces first thing in the morning - they know that if we get up that they'll soon get food... It was never a problem until we started feeding them first thing in the morning - it seems like cats can't tell time in the morning as well as in the afternoon - most likely because they sleep most of the day! Something didn't finish installing when you first installed AIM 6. If you only just recently installed it, i'd just do a system restore back to before it was installed. I play sports games like Madden and my 5 yo son plays star wars type games. I just bought xbox360 arcade, is the built in memoery card enough to support those types of games? We do not nee to play online or live.
Absolutely - the 360 comes with enough memory space for game saves as well as memory card slots if you want your saves to be 'portable' so you can take them to you friends' house. The higher versions of the 360 have a detachable hard-drive which gives alot more space, but is meant to allow you to download demos and extras from the internet. You may want to consider at least...

If you mean wired controllers for the original Xbox, then no you cannot. The ends of the cord are different on the older controllers than the wired Xbox 360 controllers. I believe the wired 360 controllers are USB, so they are usable on the PC as well with an adapter of some sort.

Why is it I experience the environment to be cooler when I haven't had much sleep when compared with an average (longer) night's sleep, even though the temperature or humidity didn't change?
It's your body telling you it needs it's 'shut-down' time. It knows that sleep involves covering up and thus creating warmth, so lowing your body temperature is a sign that it needs to have it's shut-down time.
It's the same as when you're sick and you feel 'cold'. Bundling up and eating warm foods helps raise your body temperature and fight off...

If you have a power-adapter, try that instead of the battery and if it works then you know it's the battery - if it still doesn't work it's either the memory chip/card or the display...

Best Retro Game ever?
SO hard to pick just one. Somewhere near the top of my list is the game '1943'. A classic shoot'em up. I'm also a big fan of the original 'Karate Champ', and the game 'Bubbles' always keeps me coming back for more - man, there's so many though!

After transferring files to a new laptop with VISTA installed, I have programs which I cannot open. Trying to download the microsoft 6-9 file converter,I get a message that there is a block due to the policies set by the administrator. That's me. What now
That block you're mentioning is the UAC feature in Vista - save yourself a ton of time and disable it:
1. Click the START button
2. type MSCONFIG in the search/run blank, or if you're using the classic start menu, type it in the RUN blank and click OK.
3.In the TOOLS tab, scroll down and launch the 'Disable UAC'
4.Yay - no more admin problems!

I'm trying to keep my three year old busy. His in school 3 days a week, karate 2 days a week and story time at the library once a week. Is this too much?
I think that's awesome - bedtime will never be a problem with all that activity! Make sure he's enjoying the things you put him in though - let him start trying to decide what he does and doesn't like. Also, don't forget the 1-on-1 time between yourself and him - you'll appreciate the closeness more and more as he gets older.

Do you need less sleep as you get older?
As you get older, it becomes harder to stay active. How much sleep you get revolves around how active you are, no matter your age. The trick is to get as much excersize as you can each day, and then you shouldn't need more than 8 hrs of sleep.

If you knew a family member was doing hard drugs (cocaine, heroin, meth) in front of his/her young children .. would you turn them in?
Doing that in front of children shows they no longer care about those around them let alot themselves - an intervention is definately needed, so yes I would. It's hard to do something like that to a family member, but in the end (see most of the other comments here) it's worth it for everyone and you'll have saved his/her life as well as the future of the kids.

Have her try World of Warcraft... in no time she won't have any desire to play Sims ever again...lol.

Wow, that's quite the age-range of kids - two of them are in school or starting school, right? That will help. The best suggestion I have is to work from top to bottom - remember the younger ones are the most impressionable. They will learn from thier older siblings, so I'd focus on the older to younger ones and have them 'teach' their younger siblings to obey and respect...
