I am in love with my girlfriend, and i wanna get married. But she says a "ring on her finger does not stop the blood flow to her genitals". What's she mean?
Um, I guess she either means:
a) she'll still wanna get down and dirty with you
or...
b) she can't possibly stay faithful to you if tied down by matrimony
Either way, it's a bit of a confusing statement, you two should definitely discuss this further without having lines to be read between.
Good luck and hope everything works out!

Is s/he hungry or just wanting attention? My friend's cat was sort of like that. Every time her sister or dad went away, the cat would go CRAZY and meow really loudly and paw at the door. And we'd wake up and let her in but then she'd meow loudly and keep wandering around the house.
Weird cat.
But for yours, the cat is probably just incredibly attached to you and...

You're walking with a friend in your apartment complex, when you hear a scuffle. You look up at one of the buildings and notice that there's a man choking a girl and is trying to throw her down the stairs. You don't know either party. What do you do?
It's like that Kitty Genovese story.
For those that don't know the story, Kitty Genovese was 29 when she was stabbed to death in the courtyard of her apartment complex and although she called for help, not a single person in the apartment building called the police or sought help. Lots of people heard and some even came out and watched. But no one made any attempt to help.

I agree. Get tested, and herpes, as I learned in freshman sex ed class (I knew it'd come in handy one day), is controllable and if she sees a doctor, specific meds can control breakouts. And then there's the whole if you love her, stay with her. Just be careful about getting physical if you don't have it.

Are you a sucker for brand names and Why or Why not? Famous brand names simply get generic companies to make clothes and merchandice for them and then slap their label on it and charge ridiculus prices. I say whats the point?
It's the same as labels for fashion. People know a specific brand name that's pretty much known all over the world and they just need to buy it. Also, maybe they think the quality is better because it's a famous name. For instance, the other day I was in the grocery store and I saw what I thought were Cocoa Puffs but they were the generic brand call Cocoa Spheres. Yeah.

How do I help my 7 year old son make friends?
Yes, put him in the schools after-school day care program. That's how he can bond with other kids that are often in the same situation. Elementary school is tough, especially as you start growing older. He'll find kids with similar interests and have no problem making friends.
If anything else, research a few trends that are big with kids his age (comics, cartoons, etc;) and...

Do bats scare you? (animal) I think they look so scary. Terrifying to look at, especially pictures up close.
I love bats. I did a report on vampire bats in the 3rd grade and became so fascinated with bats that I even dressed as a fruit bat for Halloween on year (my mother bad a bat costume with wings and I carried around a fruit basket). But they're fascinating creatures, just their appearance is strange. It's one of those they're more afraid of you than you are of them.
Answer to:
When you have an email from that special someone how do you feel before opening it?
Stomach drops, cheeks burn, heart pounds, and then there's the debate if you should actually even open it. And maybe you leave it in your inbox for a little bit afraid of what it might say, but so excited. And then, you take a deep breath, and open it.

I've got a mac book, I'm a recent convert from PCs. It's still confusing.
But I had ipods, lots of them. All of them would break somehow, and the apple geniuses would say they'd never seen the problem before. I finally gave up. I think it was cuz I was too nice to the ipods, and they decided to abuse me. Yep.

My fuse depends on who it is that's lighting it. WIth family members, very short fuse but I hold it all in to be respectful. With friends, I'm a little more lenient. With strangers, it's in between. For sadness and ruining my day from that, I have no fuse at all, I pretty much don't need much to ruin my day, to be honest.

If my period last month was odd for me and i have ben feeling some of the symptoms of pregnancy what are the chances that i was pregnant last month
What do you mean your period was odd? Like, spotting? Are you late now? Are you on birth control? Sorry for all the questions, ha. If you're just spotting a lot, and are pretty late, I suggest seeing a doctor. It could be something serious. If you're getting morning sickness or suffering serious pains, definitely go see a doc, just to be safe. Hope all goes well!

I am a single man and want a child , should i adopt or should i find a surrogate mother?
Well, as I've heard, adoption agencies tend to favor giving children to couples rather than just a single mother or single father. If you can find a friend or someone you trust to become a surrogate mother, I think that'd be a better choice, and the kid would definitely be yours. I could be wrong, but my aunt was trying to adopt and she had just divorced her husband and the agency...

Illogic and irrationality are relative to the context and situation. In Star Trek (I know, bear with me here), Vulcans find emotions to be illogical. What's the trippiest night you've had when on drugs
The hardest drug I ever did was shrooms in my freshman year. And I swear I thought the field in my school was breathing and the stars were twinkling beautifully in red. I'm majoring in film studies, and I hardly ever smoke, but sometimes I like to, just to analyze and enjoy every aspect of a film. Believe me, I know how hard it is to sever that bond for a while, it'll feel like forever, but it'll give you a little time to cope and when you do talk...

Answer to:
Have you ever cut yourself? What do you think of people who do?
I've been a cutter for 5 years now. It's gotten so much better and I hardly do it anymore, it hurt those around me too much. But that sort of thing is an addiction and in times of stress or depression, when even my meds can't help or loved ones, I mess up and start up again. My boyfriend would get so upset with me and I couldn't bear to hurt him so I was able to stop for a...

If women don't like for men to stare at their chest then why do they flaunt it?
It depends on who you're talking about. Girls that wear inappropriately low shirts are definitely asking for some attention. You can still look hot without showing all the goodies at once. But in my case, I have a large chest and do lots of things to NOT have them be noticed. But guys stare anyways which makes me SO uncomfortable. Guys like that make me feel like I'm nothing but a...

You love a girl but are way too nervous to tell her. you told your friends but said dont tell anyone. what do you do?
When I tried to tell my last boyfriend I loved him, I wasn't ballsy enough so I found a Hallmark card that had a cartoon gopher on the front saying "I love you!" and the inside said, "Just wanted to say it. You can go back to what you were doing now." And he thought I was such a geek and a wimp but he came over later and told me he loved me too.
It was sweet.

Is it okay to date your best friends ex-lover if they didn't have an actual relationship and it's been over for 3 years?
You should really talk to your friend. If the relationship, even if it was JUST SEX, really meant something to both parties, she could be really hurt. But if it no longer means anything to her, then I say it's not such a big deal. People always say it's wrong to date any ex or lover of your friends (chicks before dicks, friends before mens, etc;) but If you do that, it totally...

Well I guess it depends. How large is the age difference. Actually I'm not sure if that matters. People always think it really does. But more so, if you're just looking for a fling as you said you're going out of state, you might want to think again in case the teacher could become a long time friend in the end. If you really want to do it, I say just ask, if you get rejected,...

With the way things are right now - who is growing a garden to help feed their family? I have heard gardening is exploding with the amount of gardeners.
Well veggies and fruits are always so darn expensive so my family grows a million different plants from herbs to eggplants. My family is really big on hydroponics (growing plants in water) so we have lots of lettuce and tomatoes from that. I've also planted a number of fruit trees over the years and those have always bore a lot of fruit that you can sell as jam or dried.

Have you ever had a big crush on someone even though they were not physically attractive at all?
Yeah, I went away to an out of state school last year and my best friend up there was this guy that ended up falling in love with me. I was with my boyfriend at home still so I never did anything with this guy, we were just SUPER close and emotionally dating. I was incredibly attracted to his personality. But not physically at all.
When I left the school, hella drama went down though so...

Why would a society ban books?
Very fahrenheit 451. Societies ban books for lots of reasons. I think most of all because books are a source of knowledge for everything and knowledge of certain things is deemed prohibited for corrupting youth, or about subjects that shouldn't be talked and so forth.
That's why they had banned book week at my old high school where they showcased all of the banned books!

I live in the Bay Area, in CA so I can get to A beach about 15 or so miles away...but you wouldn't want to go swimming there, definitely not. The water is cold and grey and perhaps some mutated fish live inside. The closest nice beach is about an hour away driving.

I stopped buying packs and when I saved money, that was good incentive. I also stopped hanging out with so many of my friends that smoked cigarettes so I couldn't bum off of them and hung out with more of my friends that didn't smoke and didn't want to. It's all about a support system. Plus I chewed gum a hell of a lot. Just regular gum, not the anti-smoking kind.

I'm bipolar so I swing SUPER angry to SUPER depressed in minutes and that causes a lot of negative feelings about myself and others to build up intensely. I fell down steps that were 9 feet off the ground, all the way from the top to the bottom today. Am I lucky to be alive?
I say yes because I'm 5'1 so 9 feet seems pretty high and if there were lots of stairs then you probably used up one of the 9 lives. But I totally fell all the way down the stairs (11 stairs) to the bottom and survived! My ankle and foot and elbow still hella hurt though. Be careful!
Answer to:
What is your fave reality tv show?
Does Project Runway count? If so, I could honestly sit and watch an entire season straight. Maybe two seasons with 4 hours sleep in between and food/water/bathroom readily available

My husband and I are opening a grocery (convenience) store on the side of Sydney Harbour near Chinatown in Sydney, Australia. We are hurting our heads trying to think of a catchy name for the shop. Please help us name our store.
I would say Milk and Honey but Juno stole that one.
You could just called it Untitled. I think that'd be funny. Plus, it's untitled cuz you never know what could be in there.
Quick Pick. Quick Pick Mart.
Quicken.
Slim Pickings.
Plethora.
For Your Convenience.
Store.
Uh...I'll think of some less awful ones.

Answer to:
Have you ever had your house broken into while you were inside? If so, what did you do?
I have, and the alarm went off. The burglars smashed it and I hid in my closet. The guys actually did come into my room and threw things around but the cops showed up pretty quick from the alarm and ran out.
Since then, my house has been broken into 4 times, even though we have an alarm system and dog and everything.
It's terrifying, really, to not feel safe in your own home.

Have you ever went to sleep, then woke up and thought that you had been sleep for much longer (like a day) and freaked out because you thought that you missed an appointment?
YES! And I would have nightmares that I would miss the appointment or the test or whatever was important to wake up for--and then I'd wake up and realize it was 6 am and many hours before the time I needed to wake up. I'd always have nightmares that I'd miss whatever it was and that I'd be scolded or something for it and my life would be ruined. It's scary!

Answer to:
Have you ever been followed by someone because of their road rage?
Yes and it was scary as hell. I thought it was going to be like that movie The Hitcher or like Joy Ride where the person would follow me as I sped away and as soon as I got out, they'd try and kill me. And it ALWAYS happens in the middle of the night with no witnesses.
Answer to:
My woman and I have had only one argument, and that was before we started dating and got engaged. We have not had a fight or argument since. How unusual you think that is and should we celebrate having escaped what 99.8% of other couples have not?
No so unusual since my ex and I never had fights, just misunderstandings and overreactions. Probably repression but our relationship went through SO MUCH that all of our fights were psychological and therefore we would be able to talk it out and realize our own faults.

Who understands you best?
My ex. And vice versa. That's why it's impossible for us to not be in contact. When you bare your soul to someone and you connect so so deeply that you know each other better than anyone ever will (in all seriousness), it's hard to let that go.

Teenagers! Do you have a dirty little secret? One that would change how people would think about you?
I sometimes hurt the people that fall for me, and I always feel bad about it, but I do it anyways, just to be dramatic. It's terrible but I find myself doing it again, and again, and play the victim so people don't blame me. It's terrible and I've tried to stop but I somehow keep doing it, not knowing why. Probably trust issues, insecurity, or power play but you asked.

I was raised without any religion and yet somehow, everyone in my family was baptized. Kind of a slap in the face but hey, if I choose a religion ever, it'll be as if starting with a blank slate to form my own beliefs.

What does silence sound like?
Once my ex said that the silence or wind we heard when we were up on a hill was really and accumulation of sounds of everything in the city (traffic, talking, singing, crying, etc;), every sound, all swept up and as we were so high up it was all drowned out to a strange white noise that became our silence.
That and sometimes I hear blood rushing to my head that when I was young, I compared...

My grandparents own a Hawaiian food restaurant and the customers that come in are so enchanted by Hawaii and everything related and as long as I've worked there, I feel honored to be a part of a culture that people love.
Recently I've started to bake pies of all sorts, ones I find to be unique, and I've been selling them at the restaurant. I've gotten really great...

Is it true that your lips become addicted to the vaseline? I agree with the clogging of pores. It's a oily thing afterall.

What causes nipples to itch?
God, I dunno. Sometimes allergy to the material of your shirt or bra, sometimes it's...(too sweaty in there), some people say it's psychological aka you're nervous and self-conscious so you feel uncomfortable about your body, some say pregnancy...I say it's just that you get uncomfortable in the bra and need to adjust it.

And tapping their nails and maybe kicking--yeah, I'm easily distracted so it's kind of annoying but I figure that there's something going on with that person. There's lots of movement disorders or even something as simple as your legs falling asleep and not being to wake them. People deal with stress or boredom or anything else in their own ways.

Would you let your son have a pink pillow?
Honestly I never liked the color stereotypes of green and blue for boys and girls. When picking out baby clothes or nursery colors, people love getting blue for boys or pink for girls. Although I always liked green so you know. But for girls, purple is popular and that's got blue in it. And red for boys is popular and that's leaning towards pink more than blue. There's many reasons but if I should give you one good one than I'll try. I quit 6 months ago because I realized that I was using it simply as an emotional and social vice. I wasn't even addicted to them physically, just wanted one with I was sad because I couldn't think of something else to give emotional release. In social settings, it was because I was out with a lot of...

What do you think when you hear adults or parents say, teenagers don't know what love is.
I think love is different to everyone. It's strength is different with each person you meet. But I don't think that you're ever too young to love because I believe you can love many things growing up. You love your family, stuffed animals, certain shows--love doesn't have to be romantic love all the time. And by parents saying kids don't know what love is, it belittles...

Coming from someone that has been through more than enough attempts at something so irrational, you really have to stick it out.

Does anyone remember the show about Alex Mack?

My boyfriend and I decided we wanted children months ago but i've been thinking about it and I kind of want to wait. I want to get married and become financially stable and stuff first. How do I tell him i've changed my mind?
It really is as simple as just being honest. Sit down and maybe right down a few things you want to say to him, justifications and such, pros and cons, and then tell him right off why. It'll help if you know your exact reasons so you don't become too nervous about losing him and just agree to what he wants. He knows how much you love him since you're considering having a family...

If your son/daughter has an addiction, would you send your child to a boarding school for troubled teenagers?
I can see how that answer could be considered but I say absolutely not. If your child is going through such a hard time and is that vulnerable, sending them away from every support system they have around them is only going to hurt them even more and they may start to resent you for not being there when they needed you the most.
I understand being in an environment that created the addiction...

Have you ever missed someone so much you feel physically ill?
Yes, my boyfriend of 3 years broke up with me 2 months ago and I miss him so much each second, it really does make me sick.
Also, lack of appetite comes with being depressed so if you're feeling super upset, lack of food could cause it.
Sorry if you miss someone terribly right now, it's hard to deal without the ones you love the most.

Of course not! In fact, I think it would make certain people want to know MORE about you.
But I was diagnosed a few years ago and some people are still uneasy of it and don't believe the 4 doctors that confirmed it with my parents.

Are you Bipolar?
Yeah, I was diagnosed with Bipolarity II a few years ago.
For some strange reason, I thought, "I knew I was crazy!" and was a little relieved from everyone always saying I was just angsty and dramatic.
But it's so difficult having to try all of the meds to find the right combo. I was pretty screwed up for a while.

Here's a question to ask yourself: Do you think he's the one? I know this is a hard thing to hear but anyone that has chosen to do things that are clearly going to hurt someone you even love remotely (aka try and meet other people and remove himself from your life completely by moving out) isn't someone for you. Moving out is on thing, hurtful but could possibly make sense to try...

I totally understand. I went away to school in another state last year and my boyfriend (or ex now) and I went through a really difficult time trying to make it work. We both cared about each other too much to not be together but being so far from someone with no physical comfort really puts a strain on a relationship. I agree that you need to be upfront with him. Can you remember what you did right after your breakup with your last b/f or g/f?
I cried consistently every hour for 3 days while staying inside and watching a great deal of break up films eating nothing but ramen and ginger ale...and the aspirin in order to get rid of the emotion headache.
Around the 4th day, I went to have coffee with a friend and proceeded to count off the stages of dying(it works for relationships kinda):
1. Denial
2. Anger
3. Bargaining

Answer to:
What's the worst part about getting "dumped"?
I think the WORST part of getting dumped is when you knew it was coming for so long and everyone told you to be the one to do it first...but you couldn't because you loved them too much.
Answer to:
Whats the worst part about a breakup?
Suddenly realizing the person you saw everyday and shared everything with is no longer there.
Not being able to call them and confide is painful especially since they're your best friend and the person you would always go to for comfort.
And then there's that whole having a lot of inside jokes, references, and simple little daily quirks that you can't share with them anymore.
