How can I remove a hair that is stuck in my throat?
Thanks for the advice... but I've already tried that. My doctor said that he really couldn't give me any advice, other than to drink a lot of water to try to flush it down. He said that if I waited long enough.. the hair would eventually be dissolved.

Is there a home remedy to get rid of poison oak? Or to relieve the itching?
An old man told me once, to take a cotton ball and "dab" the affected area with gas... it sounded a bit dangerous, but after trying everything else, I gave it a try. IT WORKED!!! Of course, you would have to be very careful until it dries... but it definately works. GUARANTEED!!

Answer to:
Can baby oil be used to clean and shine the leaves of a rubber plant?
No!!! You don't want to use anything that will "clog" the pores of the leaves. All you'll want to do is use a damp sponge or cloth to wipe off the dust.

I recently started exercising and I am having shortness of breath
after I exercise. Why is this?
As children, we breathe as we are supposed to... diaphramatically, but for reasons that experts can't explain.. we stop breathing this way around the age of 4 - 5, and begin taking "shallow" breaths. Lay on your back, put your right hand on your stomach, and your left hand on your chest... okay, breathe in through your mouth for 5 seconds.. pushing your stomach toward the...

How does exercise help your physical and mental well being?
Physically, it raises your metabolism, burns calories, and builds muscle. Emotionally, it is a wonderful stress relief. Stress is the cause of MANY different illnesses, and can do major damage to internal organs. Not to mention... can cause a severe outbreak of hives (personal experience).

How can I treat chronic nasal congestion?
Don't use nasal sprays.. this will only temporarily solve your problem... and actually make it worse. Over the counter nasal sprays are addictive ( I know from past experience). If you are already addicted to a nasal spray, you will need to "ween" yourself from them by using a saline spray. Otherwise, see your doctor for a possible deviated septum.
Answer to:
What's the best cure for hiccups?
Tae Kwon Do instructors have advised to drink through a straw while putting your fingers in your ear, any liquid can be used. It sounds silly, but it has never failed to work for myself and children. Not to mention.. it's harmless.

How do I relieve sinusitus?
You obviously don't want to become addicted to nasal sprays, so the best spray to use would be a saline nasal spray. Your best bet is to check with your doctor, he/she may give you a prescription spray. The saline is also excellent for keeping the sinusitus away, once you are free of it.

I had an infection in my left ear, and now it is hard to hear out of that ear. What can I do (besides going to the doctor)?
It is quite possible that you still have fluid behind your eardrum, which will make it hard to hear. Check with your doctor to make sure that you aren't in need of further antibiodics. It's always better to be safe than sorry. Cleaning your ears is never a bad idea, but be careful with cotton swabs, you can push any lingering wax farther down into the canal and make that situation...

How can I remove a lump of ear wax that is stuck to my eardrum? Debrox has failed.
If you're reluctant to see a doctor about this... go to your local drug store and get a blue bulb syringe (baby nose sucker). Use the warmest water that is comfortable (easiest to have someone help), with a towel draped around your shoulders. Keep flushing the water into the canal until the wax breaks free and flows onto the towel. Best done in the bathroom or kitchen to avoid mess.
