What causes fear of intimacy? I think that the idea of giving a part of your heart to another person to do as they please is terrifying. If the other person abuses it or damages it, the repairs can be extremely costly or impossible. Is matching your date a do or a don't? If you mean finding another person for your date (instead of yourself), I think that it actually is kind of a nice thing to do. Let's say it was a blind date, and you saw that it wasn't going to work out. You could think of someone that the other person might be more compatible with and facilitate the hookup. I think that would be a really selfless thing to do.

I have taken ambien one other time after I had Lasik surgery. Other than that I've never taken another. I find that melatonin supplements work well to prevent jet lag. I've never complained about men having their own clubs. I don't really see why it's an issue. Men can belong to the "He-Man Woman Haters Club" even for all I care. What is your favorite phrase when you want someone to go away or you want to imply you'll do anything else but what they're asking? Like take a hike, or I'd rather rearrange my socks, etc..... I usually try to get the message across without saying anything. Often just averting the eyes and showing body language that shows disinterest is enough. If the person still doesn't get it then I make a mental note that the person has trouble getting a hint and might say something to them like "Someone's waiting for me."

Have you ever heard the quote: "When you bow to a mirror, the reflected image bows back"? (N. Daishonin) As in "Our environment is essentially a reflection of ourselves." Agree? I've never heard that quote. I think my environment is not really a reflection of myself. If it were true, I'd be terribly cold and snowy. I like to think that I'm more warm and sunny (with intermittent tornadoes :D).

Both people need to determine that, and it won't happen until both people learn more about each other. You can't force someone to feel that they want to be more than friends. Be patient and just enjoy whatever time you spend together.

If I'm reminded of the feelings I had when I cried the first time, I can sometimes start again. When my mother died, I would start crying when I thought about how final death is and how I would never be able to talk to her again. If I start crying because I'm reminded of something, I usually only cry for a few minutes.

Best way to lose weight on lower stomach and upper legs I would think that doing large amounts of aerobic exercise that also strengthens the abdomen and the thighs would tone them. Running is great for both, but can be hard on the knees. I find that running on a well cushioned treadmill is easier on the joints.

Would you say it was WWII that pulled America out of the Great Depression, the New Deal or both? I have read that the US economy was already essentially recovering by 1938. The US involvement in the war didn't happen until 1941. I think that the depression would have ended even if the war didn't happen. (Though the recovery might not have been as quick.)

I am worried that when I get back, she wont be there. My daughter will be able to pop Every time that I go away for more than a week, my cats get very stressed. Two months would be awful. I'm always very careful to have someone visit at least every other day to play with them. When I get back they are both still very "needy" for a few days. I think that cats are very social and have trouble adjusting to change.

When you were a child, if some one hit you, what was your immediate reaction? I would start crying. I would feel like I was rejected even if it didn't hurt me much physically. I remember burying my head in the couch at home with tears coming out and me gasping and sobbing because a friend of mine socked me in the back.
