What causes fear of intimacy?
I think that the idea of giving a part of your heart to another person to do as they please is terrifying. If the other person abuses it or damages it, the repairs can be extremely costly or impossible. I feel that trust must be earned over time, and giving intimacy to another requires an amount of trust that is unable to be given easily without trepidation.

If you mean finding another person for your date (instead of yourself), I think that it actually is kind of a nice thing to do.
Let's say it was a blind date, and you saw that it wasn't going to work out. You could think of someone that the other person might be more compatible with and facilitate the hookup. I think that would be a really selfless thing to do.

If she's not giving you an indication that she wants to be kissed, then don't kiss her. I would like to change the way I behave, my beliefs, and my personal view of life - but can't seem to do it. Am I am what I am?

You can grow your own unique personality to make yourself the best at what you have talent. I believe that we are each born with unique talents that we need to identify and refine to become the best that we can be.
Marcus Buckingham has written some good books about making the most of who you are by identifying and growing your own strengths.

Could it be from your skin rubbing together during the exercise?

Why do women complain when there are men only clubs claining its sexist when there are many women only clubs which men dont complain about? Taking sexism too far?
I've never complained about men having their own clubs. I don't really see why it's an issue. Men can belong to the "He-Man Woman Haters Club" even for all I care. I doubt that men are secretly plotting against us in an attempt to regain supremacy over women in the world. The clubs are probably just healthy ways to escape for a while.

Now that a black man is president do you think race relations will improve in the U.S?
I think that they have been improving greatly over the last twenty years. The inauguration of a black president is an historic event that has special significance in America.
The very founding of America relied on turning a blind eye on slavery. This ignorance of the slavery issue led to the Civil War, Jim Crow laws, migration of blacks from the southern states, and the civil rights...

We are many things, have many selves, inside, but can only live a few. What happens to the others? What becomes of all those other beings that inhabit us?
What a great question! Who are we really?
I think that I choose who I am to a degree, but much of me was determined outside of my choices. I was born with natural tendencies that have grown stronger based on my interests and preferences. Did I choose this or was it already a part of me passed on by my ancestors?
The others inside me are hidden far below the surface of the personality...

No it isn't healthy. Your opinion is worth as much as anybody else's. If she's denying you the right to your own opinion, she's stealing from you something that is not hers to take. She may not realize what she's doing to you. Say your opinions to her in a nice way. She'll probably appreciate it and you'll not have to forfeit your point of view.

I am beginning to question my faith in God, and do not think i can continue to believe in him. How do you think i shoud feel?
I believe that there is only one person's decision about your faith that matters and that is YOUR OWN. Look at the evidence in front of you and come to your own conclusion. Since it is faith, you may find that there isn't enough information to make a decision without taking a "leap of faith".

I don't understand why underage drinking should be fined at all. I can understand that many 18 year olds aren't mature enough to drink responsibly, but neither are many 36 year olds.
Why not fine 18 year olds for singing badly in the shower. At least some good would come out of that.

Television. I get about 250 channels, and there's rarely anything I want to watch (except old movies). I do love Turner Classic Movies (The best channel ever). It would hurt deeply to lose that channel, but the internet is more important to me.

How do you make sure (when getting to know somebody) you can become more than friends and not just friends?
I don't think you can make sure. Both people need to determine that, and it won't happen until both people learn more about each other. You can't force someone to feel that they want to be more than friends. Be patient and just enjoy whatever time you spend together.

I have at times, but I realize that I am but a small part of the whole. I am only seeing things from a single place. That reassures me that there is so much in the world more than I know and that there must be good and truth out there even if it doesn't look that way from my point of view.

I prefer hugs, but I will only give hugs if the person that I meet likes them too. If I know that they are put off by hugs, I will just say "hello" and smile instead.

Even if it were older, I would be very upset. I would probably be in tears for a while. Even if my boyfriend wanted her to take the picture down, it would still bother me. I would be jealous even though I know that isn't right for me to be that way.

Why do guys question the sexual orientation of other guys who don't outwardly seem interested in girls? You don't see women doing this, and it seems a little bit paranoid/phobic to me.

I think that it is normal to feel this way sometimes. I feel like others have it so easy or have much more quality to their life sometimes. I bet others think that of me also. I know that I have the most control of only one life...mine. I am responsible for making the most of it. Good health, knowledge, and friends are all under my control. Ladies, What do prefer, A man that is a bit rough and rugged looking or a well groomed metrosexual? :D
If I have to pick between these two choices, I'd go with the well groomed metrosexual. The rough and rugged looking guy probably has a pile of dishes in his kichen sink a mile high, carpet that has caked in food in his home, and has an odor about him that says "farm living is the life for me". At least the metrosexual can take me to a fine restaurant and I won't have to...

Have you ever spent days on end crying..every waking minute? Whats the longest you've cried for?
I cry usually for an hour or less at a time. If I'm reminded of the feelings I had when I cried the first time, I can sometimes start again. When my mother died, I would start crying when I thought about how final death is and how I would never be able to talk to her again. If I start crying because I'm reminded of something, I usually only cry for a few minutes.

Some women seem to get a shock when they find out that i am sober on the dance floor and do ok
I love to dance, but I don't think that it makes a difference if he can. I don't consider myself a good dancer, so maybe I can learn something from a guy who can dance well. It still isn't much of a turn on though. Now if the guy is a professional masseur, then that would be a turn on (and relaxing too.)

For me the reason we didn't get along was my fault. I didn't have the right attitude nor the right perspective on life.

Do you think talking to someone online is cheating? I am not sure what the conversations are about but I do not talk to any males online I feel it would be cheating am I alone in thinking this way?
I have wrestled with this question as well. I have decided that It is okay for me to talk with others online, but I have set boundaries for myself. I think it probably depends on the relationship that you have with your boyfriend/husband. My boyfriend knows that I go online, but I am not sure that he is comfortable with it. He realizes though that it is something that I need/want for myself...

When I drink alot of pop with NutraSweet/aspertame in it, it seems to increase my appetite and make me feel cold. I'm not sure why. I don't know that this is unheathy, but I feel that diet drinks made with Splenda/sucralose don't make me feel hungry or cold like the aspertame drinks do.

By not "playing the relationship game", he can avoid wearing his heart on his sleeve. He'll never know what he's missed. What was the most memorable news you ever watched?
I watched the Columbine high school standoff/massacre live on tv. I remember when I saw the students running from the building after being trapped inside for what seemed like a long time. I was in elementary school at the time, and I don't think that my parents knew that I was watching it. Since I was so young, and the victims were students, I think that I felt more attached to that...

Is the reason or part of the reason you procrastinate is because you are indecisive?
Why do today what I can do tomorrow?
There's no time like the future!
Honestly I don't think that it is because I'm indecisive. I think that my personality is such that I don't have much desire to do things that I don't find interesting. I'm glad that I find so many things interesting, or I would get nothing done.

I think I feel most insecure when I am asked to do something new and I have no idea how. I can usually talk my way out of things, but if I can't, I can really feel inadequate when I try something & I don't know how.

Answer to:
Do you think it is okay for people to hate a certain race, gender, religion, or sexual origin? (white people, black people, gays, catholics, etc.)
I don't think it is ever okay to hate people for any reason. Since we are entitled to our own opinions, hate on it's own, as distasteful as it is, should not be illegal.
Crimes commited because of hate of a gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation should be penalized far more heavily than the same crimes that are not based on hatred.

Sadly, yes. The results didn't meet my expectations once when I was a senior in high school. It really didn't look that bad, but was much darker than I had really wanted the color to be.
