Some systems (Microsoft Windows) need frequent reboots (like each time you install or remove any software). Someone gave me a DELL tower running xp pro. There is a name and password prompt on the log on screen. I do NOT know the password. Without the password I CANNOT get past the log on screen. Catch 22 again! So frustrating. I think the tower is functional.
