Should English be the official language of the United States? Why or why not?
I've seen a lot of people who like to make the point that the America we know today was founded on immigration. I would like to point out that our ancestors who immigrated were subjected to the rules enforced by the governement. What do you think Ellis Island was for?
Making english our official language does not have to mean we bar the rights of those who have immigrated here, it means that...

Are some people just meant to be fat no matter what they do to lose weight?

I have friends that offered to throw my baby shower, but haven't set a date. Is it tacky to ask them when they were thinking of having it?
I don't have much experience, but I would think that it shouldn't be a problem. Unless you do nothing all the time, know when the party is or when they were thinking of doing the party is important.
Answer to:
Which is the better pet...cats/dogs/birds/fish..etc.? Why? What pets do U have and why?
Dogs are great but they involve a lot of responsability. Cats are too, but they are more independant and easier to clean up after. Birds can be fun, but they can be iffy and they are definitely MESSY! Fish are okay, but you have to clean the tank regulary. I've had all of these kinds of pets, even a rat and picking a pet really depends on what you can do for them, time, money, etc.
Answer to:
What song did you have for your 1st dance on you wedding night? and why?
I'm not married yet, but it's going to be "marley medley" by sublime. It's special to me and my soon to be husband as well as beautiful (at least we think so). It has some meaning to us as well, but I wouldn't say it was "our song" before we picked it for our first dance.

You don't have to wait until you recieve the W-2 in the mail, but you'll have to wait until they are mailed, if that makes sense. I work in a payroll dept. so at the very least I can tell you the w-2 should be ready for import into Turbo Tax on Feb. 1st which is likely the day that your company will mail the W-2s.

Unfortuneatly I can't advise you on how to break up with your fiance. I would like to point out though that for the first two or so years I lived with my fiance, we fought A LOT. It was part of the process of learning to live together and we're happier then ever. Even after seven years. It seems to be that as long as your motivated and continue to get the good grades you are getting that there is no need to drop out. It should be a personal decision and not one made for you. Are your parents footing the bill and maybe concerned about affording your college classes?

I think the fresh chicken usually tastes better. Because it's just me and my husband, we end up with a lot of left overs. So I like to take the left over chicken and shred it up. It makes for a unique but tasty chicken salad.

Hope this isnt to crude, but I was watching Dr Oz and he stated that when you have a bowel movement it shouldnt float,, and be a very pale color,, sometimes mine floats, should I be worried about this?
I've heard of this kind of thing. Generally the float rule is based on the idea that the higher fat content in your diet, the more your poop will float. That's my uderstanding anyways. The color of your poop is what should be of main concern. I not sure exactly which colors are bad, but the show "The Doctors" did a piece on this very subject.

I was in a similar situation when I was young and dating a senior in high school. I think she could really love you, but there is a huge lack of life experience that impairs the authenticity of that emotion. You've had four years more than her to think about love. Also I second ADVRACER, don't have sex with her, that is all bad, even if she wanted to, you should say no.

That is a toughy! I've been tought that it is generally a good idea to focus on the results. I hope that helps. Like I said it's the result more than the step by step process they are looking for.

The key is communication, corny but true. Maybe you could talk out with each other why you're both getting so upset. Of course make sure it's at a time that is good for both of you or you'll get no where.
