Do liberals ever listen to conservative radio programs like rush limbaugh and sean hannity?
Every once in awhile I do. I consider Limbaugh to be about as far right as someone can get before they start stocking up on guns in preparation to claim their home a separate country.... So I listen to it just as a gauge.

I think it's ok to want the better things in life and to enjoy it even though others are suffering. I think it's important to reach out in whatever way you can - whether it's buying fair trade or joining the peace corps. All of our lives are connected, and if we make sure to raise our children with that knowledge and love it could only reap rewards. It would be nice to have...

Mmm... I don't know to what extent you mean... If I think about it I can give myself a headache. I can also make my vision blurry by over or unfocusing. I don't think it's odd. The mind plays a huge role - it's just a matter of willfully controlling it.

Personally, I'd just ask him why she was leaving his place at dawn. Either you'll have a good laugh at a misunderstanding or an awkward situation. If it's the latter, I'd just tell him how crappy of a situation it is. If he says to stay out of his business, just tell him to keep his business off his porch in broad daylight! That seems odd.... I don't think you should have to pay to walk your dog at a public park, it's probably some way to recover the costs of picking up doggy doodoo? I thought all dogs required tags? Honestly, if you've tried everything to help her help herself and still she goes back - I'd talk to an attorney to get custody of the child. Leaving a child in that situation is irresponsible. The most disturbing part is that he denies saying it at all. Does he black out when he gets drunk? Does he black out when he gets really angry? Is he a pathological liar? Or is he just plainly denying it? No matter the reason, there's no way you can even begin to work on it unless he admits it has happened. Be glad you found this out before marriage and kids.

Take control of your mind again. When you start to think negative emotions stop and start thinking of something that makes you happy. Remember what you're grateful for. And if all else fails fake it. Why do women only hold approx. 5 percent of executive positions in Corporate America?
I think women are more likely to choose family first rather than work 60/80 hrs a week to get to the top. I don't see it as a bad thing, the number of women in exec. positions will continue to grow and hopefully their husbands will step up without hesitation to be the primary caretaker of the house and family.

Answer to:
If god so loved the world, why would he send everyone to hell that doesnt believe in him?
Ummm... yah I don't think so. I think if anything people send themselves to hell in a way. For instance, if we are granted Godly like insight about our lives after we pass, wouldn't knowing the pain we caused be like our own hell? I don't know what exactly happens afterwards, but a Heaven/Hell all/or nothing concept sounds.... very human.

How on earth can some people fanatically oppose aborion when sometimes babies are severely deformed, or the woman has been a victim of rape?
Because they believe it's murder. Personally... I'm in the belief that until the fetus is viable it is the choice of the mother, but if someone truly believes it's murder I don't know how they can pick and choose when it's ok to do so. I don't think it's a fanatical belief.

How do you put your children to bed?
My daughter is two. It takes about an hour for her to wind down. She has the option of falling asleep peacefully with me by her bedtime then I move her, or if she can't keep her eyes shut she has to go into her room and go to sleep by herself. I'll sing her whatever songs she requests. She's usually asleep by 6:30/7.

I would ask him... I was raised in a Lutheran church so we get baptized as babies then go through Catechism when we are around 12 or something... then we can take communion. But every church I have been to you take turn by rows going up to kneel at the front and are given communion.

How much do we trust our instincts and what are they based on? Ferinstance I don't like Sarah Palin-she gives me the creeps.but I have never given her a chance.I just get a bad feeling. How do you explain this? What info do we base this '6th sense' on?
That's hard to say... Your reaction could be because when you were a kid you had a babysitter who looked liked her and was really mean to you.. or maybe it is true instinct. Personally, I'm not a fan of hers so I would say your instinct is right on! But you should at least look at videos of her and at her positions before writing her off completely.

Do you believe in the saying "Once a cheater, always a cheater"?
I think that if someone can go as far as to cheat, that they will always have that capability. It's like if you can't control your drinking you have to be vigilant about not losing control and possibly giving up drinking for good. Meaning if you're a cheater, you probably can't trust yourself with friends of the opposite sex and definitely should not leave yourself alone...

Ack! No, perhaps alter some type of handicap or disease, but I don't know about that either... I would feel odd dabbling in that kind of thing. I would most likely just let nature take it's course.

It as absolutely inappropriate... unless the wife knows and is ok with it.
Perhaps if he was putting in the same effort with his wife, he wouldn't need to email you. Imagine how special she would feel if he emailed her/texted her half that often?
I don't think you should stay friends. It's not a good situation to be a part of.

It's ok to be upset about it. This is what dating is for - getting to know someone and getting to know what you DON'T want. Find someone with the same ideas as you in regards to porn. Does virginity still matters? (and why)
Yes! Because sex means something - even if it just means that someone could get pregnant. It means something. That after a certain amount of dates it's expected and if they don't they're...

No. It should be fine as long as you're eating plenty of fruit and veggies that are high in fiber. After 3 days you should start feeling a lot better. I don't think there should be anything wrong with it. Just listen to your body and when you need a break, take it. Watch your heart rate and I would suggest keeping things varied and taking a day or two off now and then or else your body will get used to that level, then you'll plateau and won't lose the weight you may be expecting to lose.

If your 13 year old daughter said some mean and hateful things to you. What is the better punishment..Making her write an essay of all the things her mother does for her in 100 words or ground her from the computer for a week?
Both. Since she won't be on the computer she'll have plenty of time to do an essay.

That doesn't sound like BPD. While you're talking to 'them' are you aware that they aren't there? Everyone talks to themselves... I read somewhere that the noises your digestive tract makes is translated in your brain visually creating or adding to your dreams. If your lactose intolerant cheese would certainly be the key to vivid dreams. But I just read that in passing - I don't remember the reference.

No you shouldn't, but if you feel it's wrong certainly don't eat it now. Not only is it 'unclean' but the way pigs are treated in factory farms is certainly not Christian.

I am planning on getting pregnant and breaking out BAD. What is a safe tropical treatment to use while pregnant?
Sorry about that! When I was pregnant my skin never looked better - unfortunately that ended after the pregnancy ! =op I would avoid taking anything you don't have to. Even herbal treatments. I would just use one of those all natural glycerin bars to wash your face in the morning and night, then use an oil free moisturizer. Maybe aloe for anything that needs healing.

You're a teenager - you'll find that guys will appreciate you more for who you are rather than what you look like when you get a little older. Till then, I would just make sure you're healthy - no matter what weight. Eat healthy and be active. Take a nice long walk every day (add 2 blocks a day) and forgo processed food. When I'm in the mood for rice pudding, but have just a few minutes I want to spare I put rice, milk (I use soymilk), and a little sugar all in a bowl and microwave it! Just watch it because it boils over easily. Afterwards sprinkle a little cinnamon on it. Unfortuately, if your mom isn't willing to take a child's welfare over your brother's need to smoke weed then you'll need to move out on your own. If that's not possible, then you'll have to take your chances. I don't know what the situation is like for the other parent, but I would do everything possible to keep your child out of a home with illegal drugs...

It sounds like it could be an allergic reaction. Have you eaten anything new or used a new lotion on your face? It's also possible to develop an allergy to something you weren't allergic to before. Last weekend I cheated on my bf/fiancee w/ a good friend. I also utterly hate cheating, so I was suprised that I did. I realized I must have some strong feelings for my friend otherwise I wouldn't had slept w/ him. Should I tell my bf what I did?
I would leave him. If you slept with someone else just because of strong feelings you probably aren't ready to commit. If you allow yourself - you can fall in love with someone else even if you're married. Being married to a wonderful person doesn't mean that you're immune to crushes or falling in love with someone else. You just don't allow yourself to.

Eventually those friends will fade away. She shouldn't make an effort to save the friendships if they're not being true friends. I find it odd that they would treat her badly because you're wealthy! If anything I would think she would have problems with friends getting close for all the wrong reasons!

You can lose your mucus plug before long before labor starts. Sometimes doctors want to induce labor in fear of infection while others say just go along with your business, but I wouldn't worry about it now. Just maybe avoid swimming in public pools, beaches, etc. until you see the doctor. Congratulations!

It's always ok to drink water. I don't do the sauna thing, but from what I understand people go in there to sweat out the toxins that get carried out by the help of good 'ol water. Reducing the sodium in your diet can help reduce water retention if that's a problem. Also - If you aren't drinking enough water, you'll find that once you do it'll help you lose...

Does he get an erection? If he's taking any new medications that could be the cause. So he loves you and it's not you. Did you ask him further about what it is? Let him know you can be patient, but that he needs to communicate with you. Sex is an important part of a relationship. You shouldn't be afraid to be open about sex with your partner.

Yes you are. And obviously you're not ok with it. If you stay with him and he cheats you can't be surprised. You may think it's best to keep the family together, but the daughter will see your insecurity and mimic it in later relationships most likely. It's better to set a good example for her. I don't consume milk or milk products because cows are treated inhumanely at factory farms. The average lifespan of a cow could be up to 25 years or more, but dairy cows are lucky to live to 5. If he doesn't quit, he should at least be able to come to compromises with you. Perhaps keeping the smoking outside of the home? And hopefully never smoking around your future children! Personally - If he can't promise to keep the smoke away from the kids, I'd say that's a deal breaker.

Guys: Do you know your s/o bra size. I was married for a long time and dating for a while since and have no clue. Girls: is that a bad thing?
It's not a bad thing. My husband doesn't buy my bras for me... and when he buys lingerie, well I'm sure the sales clerks are used to guys being a bit clueless in the situation.

My S/O has a roommate do you think they have tried the whole " Lesbo college" thing?
All I can say is when I was in college I lived in the dorms for a year and had a girl roommate for a year after that and I never did the college girl-on-girl experience. None of my straight friends did either. Don't worry about it unless she gives you reason to, then talk to her openly about it. Some girls don't think it's cheating if it's with another girl... make sure...

What does it mean if a guy you're interested in (my ex's friend) only text you and doesn't call? He texts me several times a week at different times just to say hi but he never calls is he not really interested?
Maybe he's shy? Maybe he's wondering why you aren't calling? Maybe being your ex's friend is making him hesitate? I say if you like him. Call him. And then go from there.

Why haven't I gotten pregnant? I have been off birth control since november of 07. My boyfriend and i have had unprotected sex many times, but he pulls out. Should I be worried that we might not be able to have children? We aren't trying tho.
I'm confused.... I would be worried that you ARE going to have children if you aren't trying.
I wouldn't be worried that you aren't able to have children though - close friend of mine and her husband had to try for some months before they got pregnant. And they're young and they were trying to (no pulling out).
I, on the other hand, was lucky on the first...

I got a speeding ticket in Arizona from the SMARTCAM for going 46 in a 35 mile zone .. with no one on the road.. at 12 oclock at night .. im from california.. can i fight this? How?
!! I would say that's a pretty accurate ticket. I would think you would only have a case if SMARTCAMs have a history of being inaccurate. But you said yourself you were going 11 over the limit. Look, I get what you're saying, and most of us (including me) have gone over the speed limit when the roads aren't as busy or for some other reason we can rationalize the need for...

I am haveing a bday party and i am inviteing all my friends but i have one friend i dont want to invite i have nothing against her but she can get annoying sometimes and i just dont want her at my party. i dont want to hurt her feelings so what should i
If you don't invite her you will hurt her feelings. It's a decision you have to make and then deal with the consequences. There's no easy way out of this.
Answer to:
Is it ok to hide friendships if your partner will overeact?
No. All lies end up being revealed eventually and until then your partner will sense that you're hiding something... and if they've got a good imagination it could end up worse than the truth. Why would they over react?

My husband and I are facing foreclosure, planning on filing bankruptcy. Our credit is shot on both sides, and we're in the process of moving into an apartment. Is there hope for us? Will someone rent to us?
Yes! It would make it easier on you to get the apartment before the bankruptcy goes through. Also if you get to deal directly with the owner instead of an agency that could work to your advantage. Having income that is two or three times the cost of rent also is a big plus along with being with your current employer for a good length of time. I have no legal expertise - but I have lived in...

I have a 2 year old and a 10 month old, one boy and one girl, i need to put them into the same bedroom due to lack of space in my home. she goes to bed at 8, he goes at 7. how do i do this?
I would guess, for everyone's sake, to change their bedtimes so it's the same. Maybe compromise on 7:30? Or 8 if your 2 yr old is watching the clock. I would say since they're so close in ages it'd be a good thing to have their bed times the same anyways. But then, if your ten month old is a heavy sleeper maybe it won't be a problem?

If a child is still getting teeth, will artificial sweeteners be as bad on them as far as the chances of them coming in decayed as sugar is?
I'd just stay away from sugar period if you're concerned. People act like you're depriving kids when you don't let them have candy! The sweetest thing my daughter gets during the day is fruit and watered down fruit juice. Even her soy milk is unsweetened (I hate the taste, but she has no complaints!).

What black hair products any one recommends, my using on my toddler to help her hair grow? Everyone ask if she is a boy!!!
I suggest head bands and don't they have bows you can stick to their head? =o/ My daughter had tons of hair and even when she wore pink people would call him a boy! It's so hard to tell at that age.

Iam 21 years old, living on my own and working a full time restaurant job. Nobody is helping me out with bills and living expenses, and Iam finding it difficult to figure out what I wanna do in life. Should I join the navy?
A lot of people spend years trying to figure out what to do in life. You might as well spend it with a secure job with benefits, traveling the world, and getting money for school. If you're not happy with where you are now and don't have any other plans to change the situation I would say take the test and go for it. Time moves quickly!

What is the trick to salsa dancing?
Take a couple lessons - it'll be worth it. And I'm not talking about the ones that they give in the clubs! There's dancing "on 1" and "on 2" ... I prefer on 2. When I first learned I counted the beats constantly to make sure I stuck on it - before you know it it'll be a part of you. I think the trick after that is to not think too much and if...

Is it healthy to raise a child from birth in the vegan lifestyle, taking enormous care to ensure proper nutrition?
Yes! It is absolutely possible and has been done countless times. If you are able to keep your child's diet as non-processed and organic as possible than you are definitely giving your kid an advantage.
I'm vegan, but my daughter isn't. I keep her diet as healthy as possible, and she hasn't had any red meat yet and eats chicken maybe once or twice a week when...

Why is Obama a black candidate when he's half white?
I'm reposting the answer I put to pretty much the same question:
I think this is an interesting question - although it has no bearing on my vote. I'm mulatto (black and white) and very much identify with being mixed. I, personally, would correct someone if they were to call me one or the other. I think it's easier for the media to go by the 'one drop' rule..... as a...

I'm going to San Diego for work in October and I'm so excited, are there any 'must do's' while I'm there?
If you have kids:
Sea World for sure! You can go online and reserve a tour (they have some for all price ranges), you can have breakfast with elmo and friends, or a picnic delivered to you during the shamu show. Active military and their dependents get to go to Sea World one day a year for free. Definitely get there when they open! Me and my 2 yr old can easily stay there the whole day....
