Usually at church after your baptism the next time they have commuion the pastor gives it to the people who recently been baptized but church has had it 2 times since my baptism and pastor has yet to do me I would ask him... I was raised in a Lutheran church so we get baptized as babies then go through Catechism when we are around 12 or something... then we can take communion. But every church I have been to you take turn by rows going up to kneel at the front and are given communion.
